Great value
My wife and I stayed 2 nights in a double room with private bathroom in the hostel tralala while on a recent trip to Salento. Overall we had a really positive experience and here are a few of my thoughts in relation to the place.
PROS
- Room - was really quite cute. Wooden floors, comfortable bed with blankets, windows that open onto the street.
- Hot water - worked reliably.
- Staff were friendly and generally spoke some English. They were able to organise a few services for us that I have listed below.
- Security - was happy with this. They have a locked door downstairs as the only point of entry and you are given a key for this on check in. Doors and windows all had locks that worked.
- Location - Salento is a small town and so you can walk everywhere. This was fairly centrally located and only a block from the plaza. Walking distance from the bus terminal.
- Value - for what you get it’s superb value.
- Laundry service - They do laundry on site and you get it back within 2-3 hours at a cost of 10000COP a kilogram. This was helpful after we returned from our hike as we had some heavily soiled outfits that needed attention.
- Private transfer - They organised a private transfer for us to the piera airport at a cost of 170K which we appreciated as we had a time budget to consider.
- Luggage storage - we did an overnight hike in between our 2x1 night stays and we were able to keep the luggage in their common kitchen area during this time.
- They do offer boot hire for trekking in the valle de corcora although we did use this service.

- Wifi and associated internet was a bit patchy at times .
- Noise - given the rooms open up onto the street a bit of traffic noise can be expected.
Overall this was a comfortable and very economical option for us and I would have no hesitation recommending it to other travellers.

Good price hostel, with very good service
I stayed in this lovely hostel for 2 nights and enjoyed it a lot. The location is absolutely perfect (next to the main town square) the rooms are spacious and the hostel has all the needed facilities. An extra Thankyou to the service for helping me a lot with getting a certain package. Overal a great stay at a hostel that was a lot less expensive but still very good quality!!

Greta place!
I went there for 4 nights and couldn’t be more happy about it. They have a very clean hostel, the room was very cozy and clean, the kitchen was also very clean and good. It was well equipped with kitchen utensils. The staff was great, they helped us a lot!
Could be a little noise at night but nothing to worry about!

Great atmosphere and value
Lovely hostel! Beautiful design, very homely and great price. Right next to the main sqaure. We only stayed for one night, but would definitely return! They also had some great recommendations for tours around salento.

Lovely Salento
Great village full of places of interest. The hostel is well located with nice rooms. The only issue is it can be very noisy at night particularly during the week end. The rooms (specially on the ground floor) are not well isolated and it looks like having no walls between the room and the street
