Nice place!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was basic, roomy, with a nice well-stocked kitchenette. The onsite pool and restaurant were nice. The location was great, a short walk to the beach and plenty of shops and an organic grocery store. We would definitely stay here again. Good value for the price!

The Sunset Shack was fantastic for our family trip to Nosara. The beach is super close, and the town is very cute. We were right in the middle of it all. Monkeys in the mango trees on the property in the morning, and iguanas roaming all day. The food, the staff, and the hotel itself were all 5 stars! We would love to return to Nosara, and would not stay anywhere else. Thank you Sunset Shack!

Great location, pool is an added bonus as is the onsite restaurant. Excellent dining options within walking distance.

Sunset Shack is a great little hotel, centrally located in Nosara. It is a 5 min walk to the beach, which is its best feature. Breakfast at Al Chile was great, and the rooms were tidy and clean. The hotel itself doesn’t have many amenities and is not super luxurious, but if you’re main concern is location and a clean place to sleep, this is a great option. Staff was also helpful with arranging transfer for us to the airport and booking an ATV tour for us.

Welcoming quiet and excellent food

Lovely room and excellent restaurant
Very attentive and welcoming staff
Perfect place for a couple nights.
Close to beach but feels a bit more “urban” if you can call it that.
