Unfortunately, two days were far too short, this lodge is an absolute recommendation!

Unfortunately, we were only two days in this beautiful lodge.
The location and garden are like an oasis right in the hustle and bustle of Santa Elena.
Breakfast was the best we ever got in Costa Rica, homemade bread, cakes and cookies as well as homemade jams were only a small part. That was really first cream!

Amazing service!

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Arco Iris in Costa Rica!
A huge thank you to the entire team for the outstanding service. The receptionist gave us fantastic recommendations that really made our trip even more special. The breakfast was also a highlight — so many delicious homemade options, everything fresh and prepared with care.
I’m especially grateful for the incredible support when I accidentally left important documents in the safe. The team went above and beyond to solve the situation quickly. Even without an available courier service in town, they found a way to send my documents to our next hotel the very next day — saving me from a long trip back.
We truly felt cared for, and this level of attention made all the difference. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Costa Rica!

Super Helpful Staff

We were on a self-planned tour, and Bernal, the Arco Iris manager, helped us reserve excursions and get taxis when we arrived. The huge, delicious breakfast included 5-6 kinds of fresh tropical fruit and many protein options. We had many wildlife sightings on the lush landscaped grounds – agouti, howler monkeys, variegated squirrel, kiskadee, Lesson’s motmot, white throated magpie jay. Our lodging was beautiful and secluded (the honeymoon cabin), although the shower temperature was hard to control. Santa Elena is noisy, but the location suited us because it was a five-minute walk to town.

Great quiet place in the heart of Santa Elena

This is a really nice property in the Heart of Santa Elena, close to everything by foot, yet it's down a driveway that removes it from the fairly loud hustle and bustle of th etown, and vehicle noise. It's a nice oasis to come home to after touring the hearby sites. We stayed in #8, which was a small one room cabin with bathroom. There wasn't much room to spread out, but totally sufficient. it had a deck facing into a grove of trees and jungle and we were visited by a cute white-faced monkey on our deck a couple times. the breakfast included was over the top with selection of fruits, cereals and hot items. The staff, especially Bernal, were very helpful and scheduled two tours for us, as well as transportation to our next destination.

Very family friendly resort with a lot of love (especially for kids and animal lovers)

We stay with our family for three nights. The resort is very family friendly with three cute dogs and two cats entertaining the kids. The bungalows are clean and spacious (ours has two floors). The resort has also horses and a small chicken farm. The breakfast is fresh and the staff is very friendly. The manager is very helpful and nice to the kids and let them enjoy the experience with the animals in the resort premises. You can also get very helpful tips for activities. I highly recommend this place.
