Amazing time!

Wonderful hotel!! We stayed there (family of four) and it was exactly what we wanted. It is a small hotel, right on the ocean, but you have access to its much bigger sister hotel (Tamarindo Diria) which offered breakfast and three pools--but then you come back to you much quieter hotel! Naomi was the front desk person we saw the most and she always had a smile on her face and was willing to help us with our questions! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and we appreciated the air conditioning working as well as it did. The location was great for the area--there is a lot of within walking distance and everything felt very safe. I highly recommend this hotel, the price was perfect for all that you get, and the atmosphere at the hotel is very relaxed!

This was exactly what we were looking for on Costa Rica's Pacific coast. The location was fantastic, with a lively, upscale atmosphere and plenty of restaurants, shops, and people enjoying the area. We loved being able to walk around and soak in the local vibe.
Naomi was exceptional! She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. Every interaction with her left us smiling. The bartenders were also wonderful, the food was consistently delicious, and the security staff made me feel safe each evening while traveling with my teenage daughter.
One experience I'll never forget is when Lydia and I were caught in a rip current. The lifeguards were watching closely, responded immediately, and rescued us. Their professionalism and quick actions likely saved our lives, and I will always be grateful.
The only thing to be aware of is that vendors regularly walk the beach selling souvenirs, tours, and other items. They're persistent but respectful, and a simple "No, gracias" works well.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Great staff, excellent food, a beautiful location, and an atmosphere that made us feel relaxed and welcome. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

This was my second time staying here. The ocean front rooms are way nicer and more modern than the other rooms. The owner is the same as the Diria next door, where you’ll be having your breakfast. Listen, for the price, just stay at the Diria, you’ll be spending maybe 80 bucks more and it’s got all the amenities you’ll need like pools, bars, restaurants, etc. The Perla is nice and low key, but too expensive for just offering oceanfront and free breakfast.

Clean property, helpful staff, great location, shops and restaurants close but still a bit removed from main noise. Cannot beat beachfront location. Breakfast and pool use at Diria are huge perks. Highly recommend!

Old hotel, basic room but great location beachside. Wish the room had more storage or hooks since no closet. Loved the access and chairs to lounge outdoors and see the ocean. Bar and outdoor shower convenient. The parking, breakfast and pool at the nearby property were great and easy to access. Would stay again.
