A welcoming discovery
The bathroom was large and welcoming, even if it lacked some lighting. I would suggest adding an additional light source to make it brighter. As for cleanliness, the apartment was impeccably kept and tidy.
Overall, my experience at Apartments Voltera was extremely positive, and I highly recommend it. Rating:

Nice appartments in the centre of Betina
Our appartment (Vinci 1) was the 3 person version, but it was big enough for a couple. It isn't the highest rank, but it has a hell of a caracter - stone walls, little fishing ships made from stones, artsy bits and pieces.
+: The location, friendliness of owners, cleanliness, size.
-: while it is under the stairs to upper floors, it only has windows on one side - hence it's fairly dark. And it has no parking space right beside it, so be prepared to carry your luggage around.
All in all - we loved it!

Quaint Stone Apartment in Beautiful Quaint Fishing Village.
Apartment is part of a very old house with converted rooms on each floor from the internal open staircase, made into various sized apartments. Being of thick stone walls & the nature of the buildings there is not much natural light & all light fittings looked ugly & slightly dubious!
Our large bedroom window (excellent shutters) was directly next to the metal staircase up to other apartments & was noisy on occasions, but was to be expected.
The space was basic, functional, clean, it served as a good base but I would not say ideal for a family. Great hot water but the towels were old, hard & extremely small.
There was no coffee machine or electric kettle, although a turkish coffee pan was ok to boil water for 2, salt & pepper was supplied. Good supermarket in Murter..we didn't get to see local market or being able to buy fish from the harbour catch.
Our hosts were welcoming & on 2 evenings arrived with plates of smoked ham/cheese & carafe of red wine, the following day a surprise plate of fried sardines & vegetables...a nice unexpected touch.
I didn't sleep well here...it felt damp after 2 nights despite trying to air the bedding, I also found having no attractive outside space & dim enclosed inside space quite frustrating for my holiday experience. We had 3 chairs to sit on outside the door on our part of the staircase..2 chairs & small table ledge would of at least felt a bit better.
My overall feel of the apartments was like staying in a part of someones house with your own cooking if you felt like it. Didn't hear much disturbance from above, however the place was not fully occupied... but did take a bit of exception to hearing the bed springs bouncing for a very extended time late one night!
Betina is a very sleepy place, for our visit was also at the end of the season & many places closing up. if not already closed.
The small harbour area is pretty & would be great on a summers evening being just a short walk round the corner along the stone built streets. There's not much to do than eat fish, people watch & mess about on boats if that's your thing!
It would of been good for there to be an island map supplied upon arrival to explore along with the bicycles provided & more effort in promoting the various rental activities from the harbour or Murter at that time....If any were still operating. (although info was supplied in an email).
All in all Murter Gajeta is a no fuss, traditional place to use as a base for the coastline activities you could engage in whilst visiting Murter Island.
