Fantastic view and friendly hosts!
You will have access to 3 hidden beaches, and there is a possibility to rent kayak for a very reasonable price.
It was a great experience!

Beautiful 5 Bedroom Villa in a lovely part of Cavtat. Views outstanding.
The Villa (there were 8 of us), is on the side of the mountain so be prepared to climb steps. We stayed in the Penthouse. Really well equipped, lovely outlook. The views of the bay are superb. There is an abandoned building at the bottom of the mountain, but it does not detract from the fabulous views of the bay, Cavtat to the left and Dubrovnik in the distance. We sat on the balcony some evenings to the most spectacular sunsets. It is a good 40 minute walk into the centre of Cavtat, taking a shortcut through the Hotel Epiduras. There is an abundance of great places to eat and drink. All the staff are so welcoming and the food choices were great. There's a really well stocked supermarket in Cavtat on the main street and also another one across the road next to a bank, where there is also an amazing butchers and someone selling local fruit and veg in the courtyard.
When you carry on walking towards where all the boat excursions go from, that strip is buzzing with life, sit down in one of the many restaurants and watch the world go round. There are many boat excursions, so many to pick from. We did the 3 island trip to the Elafiti Islands (Kolocep, Sipan and Lopud), the only fault we had with that trip was 45 minutes was not enough time on Kocep or Sipan to explore. However, we had 2 hours on Lopud. The fish lunch (or chicken if you preferred) was cooked on the boat and very well organised.
We took a separate excursion on another day to the Island of Lokrum and spent the day there. We travelled on the Vivado boat. You have to pay a separate charge of 120 Kuna to get on the island, but you are told about that when you book the boat trip. That island is very beautiful, 3 lovely restaurants on there, botanical gardens and a very steep climb (but good paths) to the fort on the top of the hill, but well worth the trip for the views.
We took a boat trip into Dubrovnik one day, again very well organised. Dubrovnik was bustling with many tourists. If you want to walk the city walls the cost was 200 Kuna each. It was worth it as it's a great way to see the city from above. The Cable Car was not operational and hasn't been for sometime. We took the public bus service back to Cavtat, but it was standing room only. Very cheap and the service was efficient and ran to time. Great views of the coastline, but don't go on it if you don't like heights and narrow roads! We got off the bus at the top of the hill (above Villa Vidak) and called in at the bar at the top of the road. That's a great little bar and again staff really friendly, drinks were cheap. They also have a little shop there where you can get fresh bread, milk and other provisions.
We did both of the peninsular walks around Cavtat, the first one (started where all the boat excursions go from), has a great path and is an easy, lovely walk. The other peninsular walk starts off ok, but then the pathways are through the woods, some quite rocky and steep not quite so easy to manage. You certainly wouldn't get a wheelchair or pushchair all the way round, but you can on the first walk.
Walking through the streets of Old Town Cavtat is good to do if you want to get a flavour of village life. There are lots of alleyways and opportunities to get back down to the main street.
Anyway, back to the Villa Vidak. The Villa is very well equipped and clean. Only 3 rooms have an en suite (2 on the first level, and there is a separate toilet, and 1 of the rooms upstairs has an en suite). The water pressure is great, very powerful showers. There were plenty of towels and these were also changed and laundered through the week.
On our first day of arrival, Pierre kindly took 3 of us to the large LIDL supermarket about 20 minutes drive. That enabled us to stock up for the week. He even sorted out getting a trolley (we had no small change at this point) and provided us with an abundance of shopping bags. He carried the shopping bags up the steps to the villa for us, such a great guy, really friendly and helpful.
It was nice to look over the balcony and see the family starting to develop the land around them, growing home produce. My only regret, is that I didn't take the opportunity to go and take a swim in the sea.
So the Villa is in a great location, and as I said, be prepared to have to climb some steps. The Villa is only about a 15 minute drive from the airport. Cavtat itself is a lovely bustling town. It has everything you will need to make your holiday a memorable one. Mara and Pierre and his brother were great hosts, so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.
All rooms have air conditioning. There is a large flat screen TV in the main living area. WiFi is good.
Don't be put off by the approach to the villa with a partly built hotel/apartment block and a crane, the villa is further along and round a corner from that and much higher on the hillside so doesn't have an impact on the stunning views you get from the spacious balcony.
