Good location but 50 steps

Be aware that there are several rooms in the same building with completely different settings. Our room had a kitchen, good option to prepare breakfast. There were 50 steps to reach the apartment, it might be an issue if you are carrying heavy luggage or have mobility issues. Mattress was soggy and bed was too close to wall on one side. Thus kitchen was comfortable but sleeping arrangement's no so much. Hostess was very friendly, went looking for us, helped us to carry our luggage up to the room and came later on to fix Wi-Fi and safe box that was locked. We were concerned when we saw a lot of construction inside the building but there was not much noise.

Central location, refreshing nights sleep

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for 6 nights in July 2025. We were very impressed with the room and service provided.
The location is excellent, in the centre of the old town. You are less than a minutes walk to Stradun, the Main Street.
Considering the weather was hot at 33C, the air conditioning was a god send which allowed us to get a refreshing nights sleep every day.
The description mentioned sound proof windows which I can confirm is true as we did not hear a peep from outside, even though we were in the centre of the old town with restaurants next to us.
Plates and cutlery were provided along with a mini fridge so we could bring bits back to the apartment for breakfast/snacks.
We were left postcards and welcome chocolate which were appreciated.
Our host Mattea was very kind and made some great suggestions of places to visit during our stay.
If you are reading my review, to the other reviews moaning about the stairs: this is the reality of Dubrovnik and it’s not fair on the host. Cars cannot enter the old town and you will be walking with your bags/suitcases to an extent.

Not As advertised

The owner goes out of his way to tell you how convenient this place is to some old town attractions but doesn’t mention that if you have a problem dragging your suitcases/bags 300 meters over cobblestone streets from the nearest car drop off and up 5 flights of stairs to get to the apartment. Beware if you get there and you have physical limitations good luck for the physically fit only!!!

Very old building, but very modern rooms!

Finding this place is the main challenge, but if you have an offline GPS app you should be fine.
When we checked-in, we were a little apprehensive as we had to climb up 3 flights of stairs, in what was a very old apartment building in very bad condition (lot of dust, peeling paint, etc.) --- but when our room door was opened it was thankfully like a little oasis.
Very modern, clean, and perfectly functional. Great air conditioning. :)

Great quiet location

Enjoyed our stay at this quaint apartment situated in an old authentic building .Very quiet and in a great position to restaurants and the port as well as a short walk to banjo beach .Would have liked to be serviced i.e bed made and fresh towels as we stayed here for 4 nights and a map of the area and surrounds
