Pleasant and relaxing,,
Karolinas house is lovely, as either a base to just chill all day at,or a base to explore the peaceful,lovely paced,surrounding area,Lapad has its own strip ( generally non rowdy).plenty of friendly non pushy restaurants to choose from across your stay..Pull Over being very popular....awell as a small cosy cove beach,small pebbled on shore but sandy at points in the sea,clean,clear water....many steps in this area due to the valley aspect of the land,,
Our host was a lovely friendly lady,,who enjoyed interacting with us,giving us some ideas around the area,,and help with our venture into dubrovnik old town.Our rooms were clean and tidy and spacious,,
We came for a relaxing break for a week,and that's what we got,,,very pleased with what we found here..
Only my second time to croatia but it will not be my last we will be back,hopefully soon!...
Our host was a lovely friendly lady,,who enjoyed interacting with us,giving us some ideas around the area,,and help with our venture into dubrovnik old town.Our rooms were clean and tidy and spacious,,

Home from home in Dubrovnik
We spent a week at the Villa and loved it, unlike a hotel this gave us the space to spread out with seperate rooms for us and our son, a kitchen and dining area as well as the patio outside.
The family were lovely and they helped in any way they could.
when you arrive they provided basic supplies such as bread milk etc to help you settle in, and shopping was both cost effective and convinient with a Tommies store (like Tesco) literally five minutes walk from the villa.
There is a small charge for the air con (cheaper than our recent stays in Greece) but we didn't need it as the villa is located above the main pedestrianised road and there was a gentle breeze making the temprature comfortable with the shutters tilted open.
I have read complaints about the steps up to the villa but despite my wife having knee problems it caused no real issue they are not that big, you are literally just behind the restraunts and bars below so its not particularly high up, and I had better warn you if you don't like steps don't go to Dubrovnik, they are everywhere, the town is set in a steep valley and slope to the sea so unless you can levitate your going to have to climb steps somewhere!
It was our first time in Croatia and we loved it, I highly reccomend this lovely villa as a great placxe to stay.

Lovely Welcoming Family
My friend and I stayed here for a week.
Absolutely loved it, down the steps you were presented with loads of restaurants and a short walk to the sea.
Karolina is very knowledgeable and gave us several tips. We both fell in love with her Mother and helped her a few times to bring her laundry up the steps. It was like a home from home.
Wi-Fi worked well, don’t know about the TV as we never bothered. Well equipped kitchen with kettle, toaster, full cooker and fridge freezer. Lovely welcome pack
Included milk, bread, butter, jams, fresh fruit and a welcome bottle of red wine
Met Andre the tortoise and Yellow the cat, he popped up to our terrace one evening and sat on a chair watching us eat.
The terrace is beautiful, overhanging kiwi give you welcome shade and beautiful tended gardens are all in view.
We paid for air conditioning but it is only in the lounge area, you can feel it a bit in the bedrooms if you leave the doors open.
Dubrovnik is a wonderful place and I totally recommend this apartment. Yes there are steps but you will find that in many places around the town.
Overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely go back if ever in Dubrovnik.

Great 1st time in Criatia
Stayed here family of 4 in july 2019....great little well appointed appt..small charge for aircon...eldery owners stay in appt below...always friendly and chatted away without being in the way....kids loved feeding the garden tortoises and cat that came around...great location set just up from main strip.....loads of bars and resturaunts right on doorstep with decent supermarket and bakery just a stroll accross the road....beautiful sunset bar on small beach at end of boulevard,,,,we hired a car from car hire literally on the street behind so ideal....and drove into Dubrovnik old town most nights...stunning.... only drawback was about 90 steps up to apt....fine if fit....and not full of wine..lol.....im not the fittest and managed it fine...so great little apt in great location,we would stay again no hesitation

Found my home in Dubrvonik
There is nothing not to love about this place. The entire family is so sweet. The daughter Karolina was a whirlwind in communication and kept in touch with me during the whole time even when my flight was cancelled due to a heavy storm. The room was spotless clean and fully equipped with a TV, a hairdryer and a kettle. Thank you so much for the coffee and for letting me stay in the room longer because I couldn't make it on time the first night. Cannot wait to go back and highly recommend this wonderful place.
