Superb, well positioned apartment with very friendly owners
Having travelled from manic Split we stayed 7 nights in a 1 bedroom apartment in a quiet position with a panoramic view over the sea for barely half the daily rate of accommodation on the mainland.
An initial glance at the map suggests that the apartments are situated near the top of a hill well away from the resort attractions and beaches. However, it only took us (both well into our 60s) 15 minutes to walk directly downhill to the quayside in the town centre and less than 20 minutes back up the relatively gentle incline. Moreover, directly adjacent to the apartments is a 5 minute rocky track down to the local well serviced beach that can be easily negotiated in trainers by all but the most unfit or infirm. From there a level tarmac promenade provides a pleasant stroll into town or, for the more adventurous, a coastal walking track takes you about 5k in the opposite direction as far as the quiet little resort of Milna, with a number of beautiful small rocky beaches en-route, two of which are serviced by a bar and friendly restaurant respectively.
Our apartment was well furnished with a very good kitchenette, an excellent shower, living room and balcony furniture. We both remarked that, if home circumstances were different, we would be happy to live in the apartment as a second home!
The family who run the apartments could not be friendlier.
We will not hesitate in recommending this accommodation any of our friends and relatives thinking of a holiday exploring the central Dalmation islands.

Great Apartment. Right next to Track to Beach
Enjoyed our stay here. Very friendly lady who owned the Apartments. Our Apartment was very clean. Good shower, lovely clean linen and towels.
Asked if washing could be done, no one problem, was 10K. Was able to hang out wet togs on line outside.
Walk down to the beach along the track was rocky in parts, so good walking shoes/boots needed, then change into thongs. Beach was the typical Mediterranean/Adriatic type pebbly Island beach which was roped off with bouy, so one could only swim out to a certain point, although the drop off was quite close to the shoreline. It’s not a surf beach as we know them at home in NZ tho.
Walk to the old town took around 20/25 mins, as we often went wandering thru different parts of the neighbourhood.

Excellent apartment!
Nice,clean apartment with excellent view.great beach 5 min from the house which is uphill but it is peacefull and calm neighbourhood..we enjoyed every single day.hosts very friendly and helpful!felt like at home!

Stunning location!
We loved this place - stunning location at the top of a hill near a cool beach with a coupe of bars and restaurants. It's a good 20 minutes' walk from the centre of Hvar but we liked the location and this place is so much better value than hotels in town. It's a residential neighbourhood so not a place for late night partying. Highly recommended!

Its up the hill
the apartment sits on top of the hill a 15 minute walk from downtown but it is so romantic that you almost look forward to the wlk. Apt was clean with free wifi and had kitchenette with stoeva nd refrigerator. great for families.
