Do Not Book Through Vrbo, you won’t have anywhere to stay!

Booked this with VRBO back in feb for our stay in July! Arrived at midnight to be told the accommodation was already occupied and that the host had cancelled her contract with VRBO! So we had nowhere to stay! Luckily the host had a friend with a spare couple of rooms for the night, but in the morning we had to find alternative accommodation. So we missed a day of the festival we were meant to be attending and also had to pay £1800 for the only hotel that had availability. A month on and still no refund from VRBO.
Do not book through VRBO absolutely useless.
