Mountain house idyllic place

A place revitalizing the river Korana flows next door and it is truemenr a haven of rest to then visit the lakes
The hosts are very welcoming and full of good advice
Ivica ourselves helped by giving us chicken bread pasta and cevapi because we arrived on a holiday

THE place to stay for a fuller nature experience in the Plitvice National Park

The San Korana is a great place to stay to take-in the wonders of the Plitvice National Park for a few days. The host, Ivaca, is simply the most kind, informative, welcoming, and knowledgeable and host we have met, with a sly sense of humour to boot! He definitely knows how to get around the park and loves to share this knowledge to maximize the pleasure of travelers. The house is located in the park within minutes of the main entrance (#1) and minutes from good restaurants (we went to Degenija twice - delicious). The sound of the waterfall is so southing! On a Sunday afternoon, we were searching for a grocery store (many are closed), Ivaca suggested some places and even offered us to cook a meat pie for us! We booked the upper floor, but had all the place to ourselves.

Unusual

beautiful location, right next to a waterfall. Quiet, and with parking in front of the door.
Just a few minutes from the Plivitce Lakes.
Very friendly welcome from Ivica, who also has lots of information and tips for visiting the park.

Fantastic

Superhost, great location, really special atmosphere, with own waterfall, which also acts as free white noise generator:) Unique opportunity to be hosted by the retired manager of the national park. He knows everything about it and has a lot of stories, worth to calculate some time, and just listen to him. If you don't feel you have time for this kind of things, maybe this is not the place for you. I am sure he still will be very nice, but you will miss sometng special.

Best place to stay near Plitvice!

We had the best time here. The place is beyond beautiful and the Ivica is the friendliest host! Very close to Plitvice Lake but without all the chaos. We were able to cook and BBQ here but there are also many restaurants nearby. There is a waterfall on the property and Ivica and his wife are helpful and kind. This is our second time here and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for everything!
