We'll be back!!!
Very nice, clean and well-kept facility. The owner extremely kind and helpful. The location, for us who went to visit the park, is decidedly convenient, in a 15 minute walk you can be at the entrance to the park without even paying for parking.

Nice calm stay
We had a very nice stay! The room was big enough! Breakfast was not provided, but all the utensils were ! The supermarket was a 4/5 minute walk. We got fresh towels.
Very clean room ! The lady was very nice and gave us allot of information and we could always ask for more information.

Smokey Bear at Villa Vuk.
Stayed for two nights in a Triple room. The room was tidy but bit tight for 3 people, Bathroom was clean. Facilities were basic kettle n few mugs / glasses, and a small fridge. It's a five minute drive to Entrance No2 at Plitvice Park with it's Bear logo. The host was helpfull in information about the area. There's a cafe / event centre nearby, otherwise it's a 15 minute drive to a variety of restaurants. You can get a good feel for the lakes in a single day. The only downside was the overpowering smell of Cigsrette smoke from the Living quarters below, I was having to leave a balcony door open on the landing to vent the upstairs area our room was in.

Just awful place and abusive and rude owner
This place was just horrid. So dated, towels felt like sandpaper, the room was very noisy (you could hear all the traffic)... I couldn’t wait to leave fast enough the following morning.
I was not expecting a 5 star hotel service, but still, at €150 for this dump I felt totally conned.
On top of that, I wrote a review that obviously displeased the owner and she started harrassing and insulting me (delightfully calling me ‘human garbage’...she is as charming as her horrid property). Unacceptable behaviour from a host.
So avoid like the plague, not only the terrible memories will hunt you but probably the owner will too with her abusive harrassment.

Comfortable and convenient for the lake walks, less so for eating out and bus connections
This B&B is nice and clean and the bed is heavenly, away from the main road all you hear is the nature and rain and I've had the best sleep in years! One thing we were missing was the second B in the B&B i.e. no breakfast provided. The one restaurant nearby isn't really a restaurant but rather a pizzeria with pizza and pasta on the menu so no local cuisine and nothing breakfast-y. The location is convenient in that it is peaceful and is a short 20min walk through the forest to entrance number 2, which is the best place to start your walk. Near entrance 2 is also an old restaurant with bigger choice and local food, albeit I wouldn't want to walk from there through the forest at night. Buses from/to Zagreb only stop definitely at entrance 1, entrance 2 is a maybe and the 3rd stop in Mukinje which is where Vila Vuk is, the buses just happily whizz past you and the next one is 2-3hours away. So a lot of taxi-ing to entrance 1 and decent restaurants which are around 15-20min away by taxi, near entrance 1 and further. But if you're happy to taxi to entrance 1 for buses and to restaurants, Vila Vuk is in a pretty location close to a supermarket and in a peaceful location where you can just listen to nature and breathe the awesome air.
