Excellent

We visited Croatia for the first time and chose this Hotel Plaza Omis. Communication with the hotel even before arrival worked perfectly. It was one of the best trips and hotel stays that we have had. From check-in to checkout, everything went to our complete satisfaction. The staff at the reception are very, very friendly, customer-oriented, and helpful. If we had any concerns or requests, everything was taken care of immediately. In addition, some of the staff at the reception speak German, so no communication problems could arise there at all. Our premium room 511 exceeded all our expectations: a double bed with very comfortable mattresses, electric kettle, mini-fridge, bathroom with a shower, and a wide furnished balcony with a direct view of the harbor, the sea, and the mountains. The room seemed like new or freshly renovated and was exactly the size we needed. There was enough storage space in the living room and bathroom. The room cleaning was always excellent—the cleaning ladies paid attention to every little detail and did their work simply perfectly. The air conditioning worked perfectly the entire time. The food selection exceeded all our expectations. There was so much, so varied, and so delicious for breakfast and dinner that the only danger was getting fat. Everything tasted very delicious, whether hot or cold dishes, soups, fruit, or dessert. We had two days with very early excursions, and lunch packages were lovingly prepared for us for them. The staff in the restaurant were very hospitable, accommodating, helpful, and very, very hardworking. You can reach quite a few things on foot near the hotel: Beach, old town, supermarket, boat trips. The bus stop to Split is located nearby: line 60 runs every 30 minutes. We really enjoyed our vacation in Croatia in Omis, and especially in this hotel, like in a little paradise. We would like to thank all the staff in all areas of this hotel once again very warmly for their warmth, diligence, hospitality, and organization.

Hotel Plaža Omiš

Hotel has 5*, but deserves 5*.
Everything was great. All the staff, all the food.
All praise to all employees.
The hotel is located on the beach, location is super good. I'll be back.

Our stay at Hotel Plaza Omis was very disappointing. From the reviews we read, it sounded like the hotel was up a hill and somewhat difficult to get to which made it sound a little away from it all, but in reality, it was difficult to get to because of all the car and foot traffic from being in the heart of the city. The hotel was extremely small and outdated, especially the room and bathroom. The bed edge/corner was appx 12” / 30cm from the wall and had to be careful maneuvering around the room. I bumped into the bed frame corner very hard to times the one night we stayed at the hotel and was limping when we left. Their parking was extremely tight (only one way traffic at a time) and a third party van blocked us from leaving while they were unloading their delivery the morning we were in a rush to catch a tour in another city and they rudely wouldnt let us leave because they said the hotel gave them a hard time on their delivery time. They hotel didn’t notify us of this either. Overall a horrible experience and we would not come back. Only plus of this hotel is their location IF you want to be close to everything, otherwise we wouldnt recommend this place.

Rude waiteress

Very nice hotel,however The older waitress was very rude in the restaurant on the breakfast.
No maners towards to us,finishing our breakfast and she was forcing us to go out,while clearly see that we was finishing our breakfast with my elderly mum.The manners needs much more improvement ,regarding waitressing.I have traveled many places in the world,but I never experienced someone forcing us out from the breakfast table.It was awful experience by this person.
Hotel is lovely,reception very helpful,massage great,however I feel that waitressing needs lot more improvement to do,regarding being polite towards to Holliday makers.I haven’t find the same standard in the restaurant,as in the hotel.
Very bad attitude full of arrogance with the waitress .

Great room. Great shower. Close to the beach. I loved the breakfast. Also very cool that an hour in the spa was included.
