That was sensational

Where the Habsburgs, Kennedys and Coco Chanel vacationed, you can't be wrong. We spent 3 nights in a wonderful villa that lives the charm of the monarchy in symbiosis with modernity. A refuge with palm trees , pine trees and pool , elevated above the Lungomare overlooking the sea : what more could you want. The attached restaurant is characterized by an extremely attentive and friendly staff that really fulfills all wishes and can even read from the eyes. The menu for lunch and dinner is Mediterranean oriented - priced but also stars adjusted : but fits. The breakfast is quantitatively rather manageable , but qualitatively impressive.

A good choice

A beautiful, classic hotel. Nice rooms and beautiful common areas. Good and varied breakfast. Excellent service. We got good advice for dining. Good location right by the sea. They have their own parking, which is a great advantage in the centre of this city.

There'd be more.

Hotel just newly renovated and reportedly finished. In any case, completely reopened in August 2024. We only got a small attic room on the top floor due to occupancy, was ok and not the problem. On the other hand, the manufacture of the room and especially the bathroom is more than brave. A bathroom with zero, right, zero shelf space for the smallest things, not even for a toothbrush is very strange. The sink is on a kind of column that would fall over along with the sink if someone leaned against it! For small children this is more than dangerous!
The shower...... High gloss tile floor that slips like shine! Absolutely life-threatening! What mind child commissions something like this or incorporates something like this? There are Din Norm EU specifications for unconditional slip resistance for floors in wet rooms or showers! Just incredible! The beds pretty small. However, air conditioning works very well.
Breakfast is so la la. For the prices called for a room it is rather minimum standard. The evening restaurant, on the other hand, really makes up for it. Great service, great cuisine and great ambience. Prices are of course very upscale, but you really get gourmet cuisine. High praise for that. The Hotel Garten is a gem in the base. However (hopefully) not finished yet, as it is not really finished at all corners or very much in need of renovation. The bar staff for the outdoor bar, if you want to call it that, have no idea what it does if you're lucky enough to do anything at all. Nobody even comes to check out to ask and certainly not to think about a second order. Unfortunately, I'm completely out of line. We were in transit there before Corona and received a perfect service and a very well maintained friendly ambience! Apart from the dinner restaurant, it resembles the old communism of the 80s. It probably changed hands in Corona times, but none of this can explain itself otherwise. Conclusion :too much money for very little power, new rooms but not usable. It could be a gem, but so far it's not. Hope dies last.

Really beautiful place. I wanted to enjoy the beach, ride my mountain bike and stay in a calm stylish place. Villa Ariston fulfilled my expectations. I even extended by 2 more nights.
The restaurant was excellent, they helped me with my special needs and the service is very kind.
