Nice but be aware...
The bunglalows arent for the weak! Very hot, humid, bugs, loud tourists, no isolation. Its like sleeping outside so beware of it. The beach and the food was really good. The stuff needs help from more mature and faster collegues, as most were really young, slow and inexperienced. All in all an interesting vacation, just couldnt sleep properly from bugs and loud tourists.

The paradise fading out
The place and the environment are still unic. Small huts among pine trees close to both shallow sand beach and "classical" Craoatian rock beach. The beds are confortable , each hut has a net against mosquitos. There are many clean sanitary units. The area is mantained as a big garden (but from the year 2009 we can see a small declination also in this part). Open air restaurant is pleasant, food is good, but there are less options then during the previous years. Also less possibilities for people with food alergies. The biggest problem for us was a very big increase of "commercialism". The atmosphere is changing. In bar there is no more place for music or local news or football in TV, the whole time there is an advertisment for extra paid activities at PineBeach, e.g. there are quad bikes you can rent. One quad bike is situated in the middle of the area as an advertisment. The quality of coctails went down very steeply, but the capacity of the bar was bigger. The music band playing only once a week and was very very averidge. The most annoying thing is the new gaming zone which is located in the open building which used to be the central reception. So you hear the annoying noises from the gaming automats when you play table tenis, minigolf, at children playground, in the bar and also in the near part of the beach. Not to say that these game automats stay in complete opposite site of "connected with nature" concept. The minidisco for children is every day, very loud and animated in "american style" - extremely "positive". It was our 9th visit of the place since 2009, but probably the last.

Overpriced, bad value for money, not recommended
Excellent location, mobile homes among the trees providing shade, right next to a beautiful beach. Beds were comfy. But these are all the positives.
Unfortunately, Pine Beach fell far below our expectations. We booked a so-called premium mobile home, and upon arrival, we faced several issues: ants in the bathroom, dirty sofa full of white spots (on which my 10-year-old daughter was supposed to sleep), Wi-Fi not working, lights in one of the bedrooms that first flickered and then went out completely. We reported the issues to the reception desk and after 24 hours nothing happened. I had to report again to another staff member. Run-down, basically unusable gym, and some of the gym equipment was dangerous. Inconsistent staff members. The biggest disappointment was the unacceptably low quality of the food, especially at lunch, and the disgusting dining area with the smell of the nearby toilet sometimes. Improperly washed glasses and cutlery. No option for breakfast only—all-inclusive is the only choice available. This cost us 3k EUR for 4 nights stay, that included 20% discount. After three consecutive bad food experiences, we decided to go out for dinner, which caused unexpected extra cost.
I tried to contact Pine Beach by email, left a message using the contact form on the website, and sent a message with Booking messenger to express my concerns. No response. I ended up submitting a claim to Booking Customer Service and requested compensation, which got rejected by Pine Beach.
In general, Pine Beach was a huge disappointment. Overpriced, bad value for money, not recommended.

Beautiful beach, crappy catering
Wednesday August 5th we went to Pine Beach in Pakoštane for a day on recommendation. The beach and the sea are really fantastic and the entrance fee of €3.50 is fine.
Unfortunately, the hospitality industry completely ruins the experience. There are two bars, one of which can be ordered with food. We just wanted to have lunch there, but the kitchen made a complete mess of it. After more than an hour of waiting, the cook even stopped accepting new orders. Eventually we went home, because the children had to eat.
Making matters worse: we understood from several other visitors that this is not an incident, but has apparently been going on all summer. There would have been several complaints from disgruntled guests. A conversation with the manager also came to nothing; he shrugged his shoulders and seemed to take little notice.
It’s a great shame of such a beautiful location. As a beach location, you just have to be able to absorb a little crowds. It seems that people think: we get enough visitors anyway.
For the beach definitely recommended, but for a full day trip we would not choose Pine Beach this year. Please bring your own food.
