It has become overpriced

We returned... to a room with a balcony and a sea view.
Still a rustic hotel with a pleasant ambience. In the morning and evening, when the day guests leave, peace and enjoyment of walks around the beautiful island. During the day, it is easy to find a place in the shade on the beach without crowds.
The staff remains friendly, but something else distracted us. The choice at breakfast and dinner is somewhat smaller, in the morning there is a long line for coffee in the dining room, where only one machine works (breakfast for the Istra/Neptun/Karmen hotels), and the waiter directs us to drink Nesscafe coffee and this in a 3/4* hotel, where half board costs over 300 euros. Everything is more expensive, including bike rentals, which have been transferred to concessionaires. The service is worse than in the past. It has become overpriced, if we return, we will return mainly for the nature.

Spacious and quiet room with park view. Buffet breakfast and dinner were ok, you will not leave the dining area hungry since they offer a good variety of dishes. If you are looking for a spot to relax you've definitely come to the right place.

A treasure of history and luxury. There are ample amounts of both. No words can truly convey the magical feeling one experiences when staying on Brijuni. I will certainly return with my wife again.
