This small family-run hotel is located on a protected part of the hill overlooking the bay in Rabac, and offers a beautiful panoramic view of the Kvarner Bay and the islands of Cres, Lošinj and Unije.

All expectations met !
Very good place, very clean, distance to Rijeka and Pula ca. 1 hour, many opportunities for visiting other cities.

Great location, but check-in process was stressful*
I booked this property during off-season and paid over $600CAD, expecting a smooth stay. The communication with Helen beforehand was prompt, and she provided check-in instructions via email, which I appreciated since I don’t use WhatsApp while traveling.
However, the self-check-in system failed on arrival. The keypad on the safe locker didn’t respond after multiple attempts, and with no 24/7 reception and no phone service on my eSIM, I had no way to contact anyone. I was left outside my booked room in a place I didn’t know, which was very stressful.
Eventually the issue was resolved, but the lack of backup support for a paid, unstaffed check-in is a serious problem. For the price point, I expected either working self-check-in or guaranteed staff availability at check-in time.
I’d recommend this place only if you’re confident the locker system works and you have a local phone number. The hotel should add a backup contact and test the lockers regularly.

Comfort, Nature, and My Favorite Annette
Our whole family had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Annette.The hotel is modern, spotless, clean and very comfortable, with a beautiful pool that both parents and kids can enjoy. We loved the warm atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious, and having coffee ( or glass of wine)outside in the little meadow surrounded by nature was absolutely perfect. The hotel’s own olive oil is also amazing and a real treat to try!
What really made the difference for us was the staff – always professional yet incredibly warm and welcoming, all of them.A special mention goes to my personal favorite, Annette, whose kindness and personal touch made us feel completely at home.
Villa Annette is the perfect place for families looking for comfort, relaxation, and genuine hospitality. We can’t wait to come back!

Unique experience
Villa Annette remained in our hearts! Beautiful place and view! Swimming pool much appreciated by children. Very good breakfast, large suite, spacious and very clean. The highlight of this place is the staff, the girls serving breakfast, the cleaning girls, especially Niki and Carla. Really good! Thanks for everything!
