Fantastic stay!

We booked Apartments nine in Slano as we wanted to be out of the hubub of the bigger towns - we loved the place! We had booked a room which was immaculate, the whole property was beautifully kept, we especially loved sitting out on the terrace with views of the beach and the mountains. There is a kitchen that guests are welcome to use, it's fully equipped with fridge, cooker, microwave, cutlery, crockery etc there was also a fridge in the room - great for chilling bottles of lovely local wine!! Rooms and apartments have air con and the shower was really good and powerful too.
Our host met us to give us the keys and we had a very warm welcome - a glass of fresh orange juice was very welcome after our travels! We were also treated to wonderful home made cakes and a glass of a delicious fruity cordial while we were sitting on the terrace.
The apartment is in a quiet location literally a minute from a beautiful beach where you can swim in safety ir rent a boat, it's about a 10 - 15 minute very pleasent walk into the heart of the village where you will find a small number of bars, resturants and shops. Plentiful free parking available too.
Slano bay is a lovely place to stay and Apartments nine is a great value place to stay.

Charming host, exceptionally well kept, safe and inviting.

We have stayed in apartments in Venice, Rome, Sicily and elsewhere. This was one of our favorite experiences. Charming host, exceptionally well kept, safe and inviting. We rented an "apartment" with a kitchen and dinning room (with its own washroom) as well as a separate "room" for our kids. We were greeted by our host with cold juice, and there was lots of free parking space for our car. We were 2 minutes from the beaches and 5 minutes from the restaurants. From Slano we were able to visit Dubrovnik, as well as the islands. Beaches in Slano were by far the best -- clean, not to crowded and the bay was full of fish. Great stay.

Very small room. Not what I would call an apartment by any stretch!

Booked this based on the lovely pictures of the building and location but when we turned up we were very disappointed as the apartment is, at best, a hotel room with the smallest possible cooking facility. Nowhere to sit comfortably in the room. One window. Balcony enough for two chairs. Certainly not somewhere you could "live" for a few days.
Owner did let us cancel but had to pay one night as per terms and conditions. Admittedly the pictures didn't show anything different but conveninetly do not show the living areas of the apartments.
If you want a hotel room this is fine. If you want an apartment I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Great value stop over

Good location in easy walking distance to beach (stony) and waterside, and a number of restaurants. The property is new build, the original having been destroyed in the war in the 1990s. The owner has rebuilt to a high standard, although there are a couple of minor unfinished loose ends (part of a garden wall and unconnected wires). Plenty of space in the 2 apartments we rented, very suitable for 2 couples or a family group, as they shared a shaded patio area for al fresco dining, and a well-equipped kitchen. Plenty of onsite parking space. Water pressure in showers was inconsistent. Very good value for money. Owners live in upper floors and are friendly and helpful. English speaking. Recommended.

Savršen boravak u Slanom

Sve je bilo savršeno,apartman taman kako treba,opremljen sa svime što ti ljeti treba,dva balkona,čistoća besprijekorna(ne samo apartmana,nego cijela kuća i okućnica)
Veliki parking u dvorištu. Prva plaža doslovno na 50 m Vlasnica i kćer jako drage i susretljive,odličan domaći pipun i liker od višnje(hvala Nine i Nives)
Mjesto je malo, mirno i tiho,baš za odmor,nekoliko restorana(svi odlični),dva mala dućana...idila,ako tražite takvu vrstu odmora. Mi jesmo,i Apartmani Nine su nam upotpunili doživljaj još više,bilo nam je baš lijepo!☺️☺️
