We had a great stay at the hotel. The location is perfect for beach and connections to other villages. The restaurant was magnificent and service remarkable.

Good value for money

Room we had was with a balcony but the balcony was very small just about fitted 2 chairs and a small table. Breakfast was excellent a really good start to the day, everything was brought to you and eggs were freshly cooked. You could have as much or as little as you liked. The room we had was a little on the small side and dark as there were no windows and only the glass door to the balcony.

local food for local people

.We liked it in here the waiters were friendly and helpful explaining the local dishes. Always people in here eating. The food we found a bit rich but that was our taste, as it was well presented and cooked

Don't Expect a Smile

I was in a good mood before I went to this restaurant. The surly, old waiter who couldn't crack a smile even when I tried to joke with him soon put paid to that. My wife ordered the pasta, I wanted to order the pizza. I was told, very bluntly "No pizza!" - as though I'd asked for something insulting. In all of my years eating in restaurants this is the very first time I've heard of one running out of pizza! Seriously, how difficult is it to make a pizza?! This is a restaurant with a sign outside clearly stating in bold letters 'Pasta and Pizza'. Once I'd masked my astonishment I went for the Octopus salad, which was quite bland and chewy. My wife quite enjoyed the pasta though. My review reflects my experience and the mood it left me in. Note to the miserable waiter: If you don't like people don't work in a customer facing job! - it's cost you a bad review, no tip and zero chance of us visiting again during our stay in your otherwise beautiful country.
