Excellent value for money.

Good hotel, not much to say, as expected for a hotel of this kind. Good room with everything necessary, comfortable beds, clean sheets and towels, and a size sufficient to be comfortable. Excellent breakfast in a very well set up restaurant.
There is a free parking area at the entrance; although it is full, we found it easy to find a spot since cars are constantly coming and going. If not, there are more options in the surroundings.
A very good option to visit the city if you arrive by car; it is a 5-minute walk from the tram that takes you to the center.
There is everything in the area: cafes, some restaurants, especially fast food, and supermarkets.
The only thing we did not like is the carpet.

A Great Choice for Our Zagreb Stay

Admiral Hotel was a great choice for our stay in Zagreb and exactly what we expected from this type of hotel. Our room was spacious enough to feel comfortable and had everything we needed, including comfortable beds, clean sheets, and fresh towels. Breakfast was excelent, with plenty of choice, and the restaurant was very well organized and pleasant. Free parking is available by the entrance. It was quite full when we arrived, but cars were constantly coming and going, so we found a space without much trouble. There are also other parking options nearby. The location was extremely perfect for visiting Zagreb by car, as the tram stop is only a five-minute walk away and provides easy access to the city center. The surrounding area has cafes, supermarkets, restaurants, and several fast-food places. Our only minor complaint was the carpet, which we did not particularly like. Overall, a comfortable and convenient hotel that deserves five stars.

The staff was helpful, although not particularly friendly or smiling. Unfortunately, the hotel had very strong odors throughout the building. There was a noticeable smell of smoke and strong air fresheners in several areas, and one of the two elevators often smelled like food from the kitchen.
The most serious issue, however, was the extremely strong sewage smell in the room. I reported it upon arrival, and the reception said they would inform the housekeeping team the following day, but nothing improved during the stay.
The gym also had a very stale, closed smell, which made it quite difficult to use comfortably. In addition, the room temperature was fixed at 26.5°C and it was not possible to lower it. The only option was to open the window, but since the room faced the street, it became very noisy.
Overall, these issues significantly affected the comfort of the stay.

Admiral was one of the best hotels we have stayed - the room, the amenities, staff, all around.
the staff was friendly & professional. Nice to stay at a classical and traditional place.
Little smokey from bar & casino though.
