Great stay. Dont be put off by some of the old buildings in the area. This hotel is a hidden gem!
Sympathetic renovation of a historic building. Clean rooms and bedding and large clean modern wetroom. Tea and coffee making in room. Self service buffet traditional Turkish breakfast with various breads . Good fresh quality. Choice of cappuccino etc from coffee machine as well as more traditional teas etc.
Parking roadside on left turning as you come under Girne Gate. The road is Istanbul Kosak The Hotel is a short walk from here in a small side street,
Reception manned until 5pm after that its a keycode

a secret garden
even at first glance it's obvious that every corner of this hotel is designed with care and love - owner is also its architect. we especially loved the surprising oasis-like feeling once inside - in the heart of the old town but a different world ; both in contact with the street yet quiet and private in the courtyard.

I had read about this hotel on Tripadvisor and the reviews had intrigued me. I went to see it and I liked it so much that I stayed for two nights. Comfortable bed and Turkish breakfast

Charming boutique hotel edge of old town
Crossing the border at ledra street is very simple (even late at night) and their is a taxi rank no more than 3 minutes away. A walk to this boutique hotel located on the edge of old town will take between 10-15 minutes.
The Nicosia eagle is located on a narrow street close to cafes and shops, but also only a few minutes from ‘the bus station’.
This makes it an ideal base if you are planning to use the bus services to famagusta, kyrenia etc.
Their is no 24 reception, so you must advise of your arrival time. I found this very easy using WhatsApp. You are provided with a room keycard, as well as a special key for using the main entrance door. Again very easy to use.
Their is a reception area, breakfast room and a wonderful patio area with tables and chairs that you can use any time.
My room was located on the ground floor. A good sized twin room with a super shower room. Their is a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities etc. my only gripe was the lighting, which were modern led bulbs. Personally I find the light very ‘sharp’.
Breakfast is typical ‘middle eastern’ and like a meze. It is fresh and simple.
The Nicosia eagle is a great comfortable base in a good location overall

Small jewel in the true heart of Nicosia
Very well-kept structure; we had the upstairs room which was very comfortable, large and bright. Breakfast served at the chosen time with little variety, especially as regards the dessert part
