Mountain Beauty

Misleading photos and poor hygiene

We stayed here in January and were very disappointed. The accommodation looks very different from the photos, which are heavily edited and present the property in a much better condition than reality.
Hygiene was a serious issue. The house was clearly not properly cleaned for some time prior to our arrival. Floors, kitchen appliances and the bathroom were visibly dirty and greasy, clearly indicating a lack of basic hygiene and regular cleaning.
Several amenities listed in the description were missing or unusable. There is no hot tub despite it being advertised. The bed was uncomfortable and worn, and the bathroom was extremely small and awkwardly built into the bedroom. Noise from neighboring units was clearly audible, despite the listing mentioning soundproof walls.
Overall, the property felt poorly maintained and significantly overpriced for its actual condition. Had we known the real state of the accommodation and the hygiene issues, we would not have booked it.

Uninspired.

Quaint village part way up in to the mountains renowned for its centuries’ old lace and silver jewellery-making skills. Very intricate designs but we found it all a bit dated.
It’s close to the Stavrovouni monastery where we really wanted to visit but couldn’t as women are not allowed! Eateries are rather basic.
Good luck if you want to hunt down the local post office ..there is one but it’s a bit like playing a game of 'Where’s Wally?' :-)

Utterly Mesmerising Village!!!

We found this place only because the hire car company really recommended a drive through this real Cypriot's village in the mountains!!! Some beautiful little streets, great houses, superb shops and the most incredible views!!! Free Parking in town is a plus!!! Highly recommended indeed!!!
