Very nice hotel
With its charming old-world character surrounded by beautiful forest, this hotel offers true relaxation. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and come with a small balcony where a pine branch seems to belong just to you -a delightful touch that makes the experience even more special.
The à la carte restaurant is very good, and my compliments to the chef. The breakfast deserves special mention: it was excellent, and I must highlight what was, without doubt, the best and most delicious cheese pie I have ever tasted. It is one of the stars of their buffet breakfast, and you should not miss it!
The true soul of this hotel, however, is its staff. My heartfelt thanks to the wonderful young receptionists, Marianna and Harri. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine willingness to help and serve guests left my family and me absolutely delighted.
I would also like to warmly praise Mani, the young waiter who assisted us during breakfast. His friendliness and attentive service made our mornings even more enjoyable.
Thank you to all these wonderful people for making our stay so memorable.
My only criticism is the early check-out time of 11:00 a.m., which I found a little too early. Apart from that, everything was excellent, and I would be happy to return.

If you want the amenities they promote on their website, invent a time machine.
We arrive and the guy behind the desk was very pleasant, very welcoming. The hotel itself looks like it had been frozen in time from 1985, it was eery to the point of humorous.
We go to our room, on brief inspection, it's OK, very dated but nothing terrible, so we're looking forward to our stay at this point...
We go back down and ask the same guy about the Hot Tub/Sauna/indoor pool/game room (the 4 main reasons we chose the place), he informs us they are no longer part of the hotel, again he is pretty nice about it, but for obvious reasons we are not amused.
This is where it turns sour, we suggest they should stop advertising facilities they no longer have, only to be met with an irritable "they are no longer on our website" (yes they were, still are in fact).
We show him, no apologies, only "well booking.com doesn't have them so.." (again, yes they do) - he was very aggressive in his assertions that they don't, and again, when we showed him, zero apology, just a "well booking.com are responsible for that" (no they're not).
We asked for a couple of bottles of water by way of "compensation" (seems fair no?) and we're met with a very sarcastic "yeah you can get them in the bar, by buying them".
I then reiterate that we were kinda hoping he would comp them, his response "yeah fine but she (my girlfriend) should be clearer about what she's asking" (she was perfectly clear, he just wanted a fight at this point).
That was our last interaction with him thankfully, a horrendous attitude where a little humility was needed would have avoided this review.
On top of all that drama:
1) Mould in the bathtub.
2) No hot water, i rang to inquire, Mr Grumpy went to check and then rang back to say the boiler was broken, will be sorted in 15 minutes (it sort of was, but the water never got above "warm-ish",
3) I think the lighting was wired in by a 4 year old, the logic as to which switch controlled which light was tantamount to the level of complexity reserved for a mid difficulty escape room.
We saw the humour in it for the most part, it was one night and only a 40 minute drive for us, but WARNING to anyone booking for longer (and coming from further away) - none of the stuff you would ever book this hotel for is available anymore, so look elsewhere if you want any semblance of fun and/or comfort.
