What a lovely holiday!
Me and my partner booked this hotel to celebrate our 30th birthdays. This was my first time in Cyprus. This hotel was recommended to me by a good friend. The hotel was just as good as my friend stated.
Upon arrival we were greeted at the desk and given a complimentary drink on arrival which was a nice touch. We had a limited sea view side room which was fine. The beds were soooo comfy! The room was a decent size and I was happy with the cleanliness of our room during our stay.
The food at the hotel exceeded my expectations. The breakfast choice is outstanding, there is so much to choose from and all of the food tasted really good.
The Garibaldi restaurant was absolutely amazing and so was the Seven Orchids Asian Restaurant. I would definitely recommend booking these two restaurants as soon as you can.
We had the dinner buffet twice (Mexican Night and Cyprus Night) and the food was very nice at both nights. The Cyprus Night was so fun with the dancing entertainment. If you are there definitely go to the Cyprus Night buffet and get there at a reasonable time (so you can get a seat to watch the dancing).
Excellent choice of food at breakfast and you get coffee included I.e filtered coffee, iced lattes, lattes etc and then you can get water and juice from the buffet. You can also order omelettes, eggs Benedict and poached eggs on toast.
I love the pool and infinity swim up bar. The pool is a decent size and the sunbed allocation system is absolutely amazing - you can relax and not have to worry about finding a sunbed every morning.
The staff were all so welcoming and nice at the hotel.
We had some lovely drinks outside on the veranda overlooking the sea. I love that they bring you some olives, nuts and rice crackers when you order the drinks at the bar inside/on the veranda. Such a nice touch and the snacks are tasty!
My partner proposed to me in Paphos whilst we were on our trip and he arranged a bottle of champagne and rose petals for the room and the guest services were very accommodating and helpful with this.
Location of the hotel is great - took us about 10 mins to walk to the harbour. Not far from the airport either. The sunsets are AMAZING from this hotel.
I would definitely recommend this hotel, it is worth the money you pay for and I definitely hope to be back at some point!

Absolutely Fabulous !!
We were redirected to Alexander the Great Hotel after our original one, the Olympic was closed for refurbishment. We were a bit apprehensive at first, as we had booked an all inclusive holiday but the Alexander was not an all inclusive hotel. They agreed however to honour the booking arrangements (as they should).
The hotel is lovely and the food in all outlets was excellent. Special mention has to be for the Italian themed Michelin Star restaurant, the food was beyond fabulous with the restaurant overlooked by the super professional Jordan. On the subject of special mentions, Zsolt in the Main bar was the most dedicated and professional drinks waiter we have ever known and Anna in the Main restaurant kept us refreshed with a fabulous Cypriot Wine. Anyone staying here will receive a friendly welcome, excellent service and simply perfect cocktails !! Such a wonderful hotel, thank you !!

Great hotel at Paphos
Wonderful hotel, excellent staff. We just loved every part of our 5 night stay here. Especially enjoyed the pool area and the beautiful lobby terrace at sunset.

Fantastic Hotel!
My daughter and I had another wonderful stay excellent service from all staff very friendly and welcoming atmosphere and our Cabana was lovely very quiet and relaxing our room and the hotel were absolutely spotless and all restaurants served fabulous food with great variety and excellent service this hotel is extremely good value for money and being able to book sun-beds for the entirety of our stay was very convenient

Loved it
We really needed a great break after a traumatic year and this hotel provided it. Really cant fault it. Great hotel and fantastic hotel staff . Love the concept of booking a sun-bed, it really does take a load of stress off (had a horrible experience at the Avanti where all the beds were reserved by 630). People moaning because they cant get the exact bed they want really need to stop being so precious .
Wr are not normally half board but took it this time due a very. offer from Jet2. Glad we did as food was very good in the main restaurant and the Garibaldi and pan Asian Ala carte restaurants which were exceptional , didnt get time to do the Greek one Im afraid but will definitely use it next time. One thing that impressed me was receiving a note from the main desk saying that as we arrived late and missed our meal on the first night, they would supply a voucher for another meal. Never had this at any other hotel and always had to ask in a similar situation.
Nice touch that we were able to book a courtesy room for 30 minutes due to a late departure .
If I had one complaint it’s that the indoor pool is not adults only and inflatable free. Especially as it is next to the adult only spa area.
