Location Good choice if you’re looking forward to taking some rest at the hotel as much as to walking around the city. Hotel «Bayview Gardens» is located in Germasogeia. This hotel is located minutes away from the city center. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — Santa Barbara Beach, Castella Beach and Atlantica Miramare Beach.At the hotel Taste the local cuisine and have a rest in the restaurant. Free Wi-Fi on the territory will help you to stay on-line. If you travel by car, you can park in a parking zone for free. If you travel by car, you can park in a parking zone. Sports fans are going to love a fitness center. Tourists who can’t live without swimming will appreciate a pool and an outdoor pool. Additional services that the hotel offers to its guests: a laundry, private check-in and check-out and car rental.Room amenities The room is warmly decorated and has everything you need to have a rest after a long eventful day. Decent Apartment with good sized balcony
I am a fit fella & don’t mind walking but this doesn’t feel like a holiday destination, immediately outside Bayview there are skips, wasteland, crumbling pavements old hotels & cats...everywhere! Also, a busy dual carriageway. Local beaches are not good, get on the number 30 bus & head towards ‘Park Lane’, not the Harbour. There are some half decent beaches up that end near the Posedian Hotel (cut through Dream Lounge and walk down), away from the dual carriageway.
Also, we enjoyed Guaba for afternoon beers in the sun, with some deep bass, right on the beach.
We ended up hiring a car and driving to Coral Bay, Fig Tree Bay, Pissouri, Turtle Bay & getting out of Limassol & there lies the key. If you want beaches or a beach holiday, don’t come here. If you’re happy chilling by the pool in a really good sized apartment & want a tan, then give it a go, but check when the building work is finishing! :)
Also, you are ‘vacated’ from the room at 12noon, our flight was at 23.50, with an 20.45 pick up, we were offered somewhere to keep our cases until 17.00, but they would have been locked away until 19.00 until the night guard started his shift. So we ended up wheeling our cases to a local restaurant before wheeling them back for pick up.
Not ideal & really we felt a lockable room would have been a better solution.

The complex is gated which is good for families with children. There is a central pool area (with a separate children's pool) and again this is very well laid out and clean. It is in the tourist area, though if you want the beach this is only down the road (5 minutes away), however, we used some of the nearby hotel beaches (for a small fee), though you do get clean beautiful sandy beaches. Also nearby there is a good British style pub (The Nag's Head) which shows every football match worth watching with Keys & Gray back on TV! I think there were at least 10 large screens some showing a different match at the same time. Also locally there is the usual plethora of restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets so you will not want for anything to stock up in the apartment. Prices have risen in recent years though still reasonable.
Some additional points regarding the apartment, the appliances are new, the television is a large modern flat screen though there is only the basic free to air local channels, though you can connect to your separate device (if you bring your own connecting cable), all of a sudden there is much more TV on offer, (not that you need it much)! There is also a DVD player which was also useful with children in mind. There are 2 WIFI locations, in room and by the pool, both were very good and connected easily and were surprisingly fast. There is a daily housekeeping service (except on on a Sunday) and each apartment has an allocated parking space.
In conclusion if you want a clean spacious apartment on a very smart complex and are not reliant on hotel style reception/waiting service this is ideal, along with the exceptional weather you cannot beat this complex, excellent value for money. Would consider staying at the Bayview Gardens in the future and would certainly recommend, thank you for a pleasant stay.
