Quaint little place

Just 5 mins from the bus station, the medieval accommodation is as cosy as the little hamlet. Jakub has really helped us with all the necessary information and allowed us for an early check-in. The town center is less than 5 mins walk from the hotel. The breakfast was also good.
P.S.: If you are staying in some of the more modern properties around the town square, you will need to drag your luggage through the cobbled paths up and down the terrain, and that might not be very easy.

good location with bonus of car parking

Had a pleasant one night stay at Hotel Barbakan. The studio for 3 was spacious with nice views. Very easy to walk to the sights. The hotel provides (paid) parking which was very useful. Breakfast was not that exciting.

Recommend!

This place is now owned by the pension next door. We had booked with Pension Barbakan but stayed next door which we were glad. We upgraded to room with a river view and left the windows open at night. Nice! Quiet and enjoyed the view. Everything was great. It was convenient to be able to park right in front. Right across the short bridge of the Old Town, a couple minute walk.

Great location, great value

Pension Barbakan was well located for an easy walk into the old town and other attractions.
The lady at reception was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was large with a clean bathroom. It overlooked the river and the snow capped houses in the town.
Breakfast was plentiful with a good spread.
The receptionist suggested getting a taxi from the railway station which dropped us off at the front door and collected us for our return journey.
I would stay at Pension Barbakan again because of its good location and value

Outstanding Value!

Pension Barbakan is a really nice and conveniently located B&B. The price is very reasonable and includes a good breakfast spread. The bedroom we were in was a bit small, but the bathroom was good size and the bed was comfortable. The greeting we received at reception when we arrived was not very warm and friendly... it actually seemed a bit confrontational, but the service was fine after that.
