Having said all of that we were unimpressed with some aspects. Staff seemed rather complacent and not particularly courteous to guests. Breakfast was ok but restaurant staff lazy and a little rude. We asked for fresh water and felt like we had committed a crime!
We were awoken twice at 6.30 on the second morning of our stay by a member of staff calling and insisting we needed to wake up for our tour. We did not, he had called the incorrect room number.
There were no large towels in our room when we arrived and so those had to be requested. I also requested a sewing kit to make a repair but this never arrived. Finally, there was a large number of black hairs in our room; in the bedding, floor and bathroom.
To be 'great' a hotel not only has to look nice but the service has to be good. Sadly, Hotel Oldinn failed in that aspect. I am sure staff get fatigued by the endless stream of tourists in summer but we were rather disappointed by service levels.

I had a great stay thanks to Foued at the front office. He helped with everything in the most professional and kind way.
Restaurants and Taxi booking to the train station that was necessary to make my visit efficient. Really friendly and relaxed no rush at all providing the support. Thanks
