Great location and perfect base for a large group
we have stayed here now for two family reunions, the first one in June 2016 and the most recent one in Sept 2017.
We were a group of approx. 35 people most staying the whole weekend on both occasions.
The place is located in a small village right next to a forest with lovely rock formation and ideal for exploring but also easy to navigate and a nice walk to the Kost Castle as well as mushroom picking :)
The actual pension is well equipped and well priced for both accommodation and also for food and drinks.
Mostly the same staff on both visits and very helpful/friendly plus a bonus for me been the only non Czech speaker in our group was that they spoke English.
Good local beers on tap, Breakfast basic but adequate, Evening meals typical Czech cuisine to a good standard.
Large dining room that also doubles up as a room for entertaining with a small stage. Not sure if we had the place to ourselves but it certainly felt like it.
Good play area for the kids and a small plastic pool although this was only used in 2016 as warmer in June :)
The bedrooms themselves were clean , large and with great heating if needed. clean bedding and towels provided but seemed unfinished in the way of attention to detail.
IE there was a fridge and kettle in the room but no cups, glasses, spoons ect.
Bathroom was as large as the bedroom but seemed wasted space and no bin in there or even a holder for the shower fitting (which needed replacing) Bad drainage for the shower which meant water flooded into the bedroom but we knew this from last year so was ready with towels on the floor. Also take your own toiletries as they provide 2 sample shower gel packets and 1 small soap but again no issue this year :) Other than that I would say a great place to stay if you have a large group ir just want a quiet weekend away as a couple of family and to be in nature.
Also they are dog friendly so we had our large Hungarian hunting dog and another family member brought they chiwawa.

Svatba v penzionu Slunečno
Na konci května jsme se rozhodli uspořádat v penzionu Slunečno svatbu. Majitelé pan a paní Adámkovi mají v pořádání svateb už jisté zkušenosti a jsou velmi vstřícní a nápomocní s organizací svatby. Možnost svatby "na klíč" nám ušetřila dost práce s organizací. Penzion je ve velmi klidné lokalitě s rozhlehlou zahradou napojenou na okolní louky. Obřady se konají na zahradě s pohledem do louky, což působí velmi romanticky. Penzion disponuje poměrně prostorným sálem, kde se konala svatební hostina. Skládám poklonou paní Adámkové a jejím kulinářským dovednostem! V Našem případě se jednalo o cca 30 lidí a byl zde i dostatek místa na taneční parket. Je zde dostatek světla i malé pódium. Penzion je ideální pro rodiny s dětmi, nalézají se zde 2 menší dětská hřiště a bazén. Pokoje jsou prostorné, čisté a vybavení odpovídá *** hotelu. V celku jsme byli velmi spokojení a rádi se sem ještě vrátíme. :)

Perfektní
Do penzionu jsme jeli s velkou skupinou podruhé a určitě zase přijedeme. Pan vedoucí je ochotný a vstřícný, nic pro něj není problém. Jídlo je v penzionu moc dobré, ubytování čisté a pohodlné. Paní servírka nám vyšla velmi vstříc, starala se o nás na baru i když už oficiálně měla po směně. Penzion má i saunu a velký sál, který využíváme na školení, v okolí jsou krásné výlety. Určitě zase přijedeme, děkujeme za skvělý servis!

Zklamání
Krásné místo, ale neudržovaný penzion.
Plíseň v koupelnách, absence háčků na ručníky nebo držáku na toaletní papír, absence úložných prostor-zili jsme týden v kufrech, společenská mistnost je zatuchlé skladiště všeho nepotřebného a kolárna zároveň a nelze využívat po desáté hodině, kdy se zavírá restaurace, zakze naprosto nevhodné pro skupiny rodin, kdy se chtějí večer setkat a společně bavit.
Pochválit lze pouze kuchyni a příjemnou paní domácí.

Velké zklamání
Do penzionu jsme prisli navecer po celodenni ture a tesili se na odpocinek. V penzionu bylo velmi rusno. Majitel poradal oslavu a naprosto nepochopitelne neuzavrel penzion pro soukrome ucely. Na penzionu jsme byli pouze my a zbytek tvorili ucastnici oslavy. Personal ne prilis ochotny, vyber z 5 jidel napsanych na tabuli. Pres hluk jsme se u stolu ani neslyseli. Sli jsme spat o pulnoci a na pokoji nam dunela hudba. Zadne omluvy jsme se nedockali, jen ze oslava nastesti podle majitele zacala brzo odpolende, tak netrvala az do rana...Pan majitel ani nevedel, jakou cenu za ubytovani si rekl pri rezervaci, zkousel 690Kc nebo 590Kc za osobu na noc, nakonec jsme museli dohledat v mailove korespondenci, ze to bylo 550Kc. Celou situaci jsme nepochopili. Jedine plus byl cisty pokoj.
