Pleasant hotel for the weekend

We stayed there for 2 nights in September and everything was good. Comfortable and clean room, tasty breakfast, we can choose from 3 meals for the dinner.
Lady at the reception was nice and patient.
Parking possible in front of the entrance.
We used whirlpool, swimming pool, and sauna. If you want to take a massage don't forget to order it in time :)

Disappointment

Unfortunately, a lot of disappointment with the promise of booking photos versus reality.
The cleanliness of Hotel was good, the wifi connection superb! The large gym for children a nice surprise.
Upon arrival we discovered that the pool is not included in the price. The trampoline that is in the photos is not at all. disappointment. The hotel should evaluate and change the photos put on booking.com! +Three large dogs present non-stop in the restaurant... Small kitchen with stove but no plate?

I had a good-night beer

...and coffee here ( I stayed at a nearby venture) and despite the late hour the service and beverages were outstanding ( welcoming, prompt, clean, excellent quality)! In contrary, the receptionist was nice but rather incompetent ( lacking the knowledge of local amenities)

Poor communication and poor staff

Tried to book this hotel online and couldn't. They emailed me and I was able to continue my booking via email. However, when I asked for an invoice they weren't able to provide one. I tried calling the hotel - no response. There is a mobile number that I called and I got a text back saying to email them. I emailed them and again - no response.
I find this business incredibly unprofessional and also they are in breach of contract by not providing an invoice. I will be pursuing the matter.

Terrible booking experience

We booked this hotel for a New Year’s Eve stay. Unfortunately, we had to cancel due to family illness. When we asked for our deposit monies back the hotel responded stating that no deposit monies would be returned as per the terms and conditions on the website. The booking was made via email and not via the site, and no terms and conditions were sent at the time of booking.
Now we have to go through our travel insurance in order to try and claim back the lost deposit, which I don’t have a problem with per se. However, now the hotel will not respond to any of my emails requesting further information. When you’ve kept someone’s significant deposit, taking a few minutes to respond to an email isn’t a lot to ask!
I am glad we didn’t stay here, as if this booking experience is anything to go by, staying here would have been far worse.
Avoid at all costs.
