Very good value, a comfortable stay
Františkovy Lázně is in our opinion the prettiest of the three well known spa towns in Northwestern Bohemia, and also quite cheap to stay at. We paid about the equivalent of £100 for a single and a double for two nights at Hotel Luisa i.e about £16.50 pppn B&B. The hotel has a faded elegance which is quite common in Czech hotels, but it means you get acres of room space for cheap as chips on a comfortable bed. The continental buffet breakfast was nice, with plenty of choice. Reception was friendly and helpful. The only reason I have not given it 5 circles is that that 1) the rooms did not have the advertised refrigerators and 2) whilst it does have a restaurant to serve evening meals, which we tried on one of our two nights, the menu was very limited (no beef for example) and not of very good quality either.
For entertainment during the day, we went off walking in the woods and beautiful countryside roundabout the town, but there are also the options of lazing time away in the spa treatments or the many cafes and restaurants both in the spa area itself and the newtown areas of Františkovy Lázně.

No fuss hotel
I stayed in the hotel during my treatment - so I need to say I didn´t pay for it. But if I had had ...
If you want to have treatments in the biggest spa, you have a fairly limited choice of hotels (around 6). Luisa is at the cheap end which brings some positives as well as negatives.
Positives:
- very nice and helpful staff, nothing was a problem
- small-ish hotel, family atmosphere
- no chips for dining, so you can go twice :) (useful if you have treatments at 7.30am and have no time for proper breakfast before)
Negatives:
- dining options are limited. The main courses seem to be exactly the same as at Pawlik (4*) but there is very limited choice of fresh vegetable and fruits
- you have to go out for all treatments - for someone, this can be positive as you get fresh air, for someone it can be quite annoying (especially when it´s raining/chilly outside). However, you walk about 500m, so not so bad
To sum up, if you are ok with a mid-range hotel full of young as well as old Czech people (compare to German tourists 70+ in Pawlik) and you don´t have troubles walking, this will be a good choice.
PS There is a free wifi in the lobby which you can sometimes get in the rooms as well. Not very reliable though. But they have a PC you can use for free in the lobby. And some weird type of billiard.

Dobrý den, ráda bych ohodnotila svůj měsíční pobyt v hotelu Luisa. Při příjezdu recepční simpatické dámy, ale po zbytek pobytu se tam střídali, ale bohužel v 19 hod odešli a když člověk něco potřeboval neměl šanci a 2x se nám stalo že v týdnu 3 dny na recepci nikdo nebyl. Bohužel stála se mě příhoda, že sme byli s kamarádkami na terase a večír, když odcházeli starší dami nás tam zavřeli a mi se neměli jak dostat dovnitř, tak jsem musela přelézat plot a objehnout hotel a hlavním vchodem otevřít. Kdyby tam byla recepce určitě by se to nestalo. Co se týče procedur a lidí kteří obsluhovali u procedur na to si nemůžu stěžovat 100% profesionalita. Jídelna, no nebylo žádný jídlo které by mi nechutnalo, ale přišlo mi, že se ty jídla neustále opakovali, takže hovězí a vepřové dlouho nemůžu vidět. A servírka, která sbírá nádobí si hraje na velkou šéfovou a neustále napomíná lidi co nesmí dělat. Pokoj, no co říct měla jsem plně hrazenou komplexní lázeňskou péči v papírech jsem měla, že na pokoji bude WC a sprcha na chodbě. Bohužel WC i sprcha byla na chodbě a pouze jeden pro 3 pokoje. Na recepci mi bylo řečeno že ti co jedou přes pojišťovnu takoví pokoj nedostanou a pokoj s WC je za příplatek 11.000,- nechápu. Poté jsem zjistila že to WC používají i uklízečky když ráno uklízejí. Postele v pokoji jsou na kolečkách takže když si rychleji sednete tak svami popojede a podlahy v hotelu neskutečně vržou a stěny jsou tenké takže slyšíte naprosto vše. Za mně kdybych se měla vracet do Františkových Lázní rozhodně ne do hotelu Luisa.

Hotel Luisa - tříhvězdičkový.
V hotelu jsme byli s manželem ubytováni na třítýdenní lázeňský pobyt na doporučení
zdravotní pojišťovny.
Ubytováni jsme byli v čistém, rekonstruovaném, velkém pokoji. Denně byl prováděn úklid a na přání výměna ručníků, ložní prádlo bylo měněno dle potřeby, minimálně však 1x týdně.
Stravování - plná penze. Výběr pestrý, jídlo velmi chutné. S ohledem na prováděnou rekonstrukci (na polovině budovy již provedena, nejezdily však výtahy, hotel bude od prosince z důvodu plánovaných dalších oprav, uzavřen) jsme měli pití k obědu a večeři zdarma (džus, limonáda, pivo, víno, káva a čaj).
Hotel je destinací čtyřhvězdičkového hotelu Pawlik, proto naše léčebné procedury probíhaly na Klinice Pawlik nebo v císařských lázních. Také do Aquafora jsme měli neomezený vstup.
Pobyt byl úžasný.
