Extended our stay
Excellent location - short walk to town, wonderful view. Non smoking. Modern rooms with large bathrooms and built in storage. Clean and cozy shared kitchens on each floor. And a play room for kids in the basement. Friendly owner who speaks excellent English -and was able to make a dental appointment for one of us. She says we are her first American visitors. We added two nights to our stay as it was so pleasant.

Absolutely wonderful!
My family and I stayed here for a week in August and couldn't have chosen better. The owners bent over backwards to make our stay pleasant. The room was big and comfortable! The bathroom nice and clean. The breakfast was good and every day we got extra cakes or cupcakes or cookies during it. Something like their personal touch. The view was fine and the hospitality was just amazing! We even got some toys for the girls to play in our room.
The owners gave us great advice on what to visit, where to eat and where to do some hiking and of course where to shop. So much better than the tourist information office!
I guess that it might not be a big pension but the human quality and hospitality make it great!
We are considering to come back during the winter.

Quiet family-run refuge in Harrachov
Me and my partner did spent a week in Pension Hollmann this summer and can't recommend it enough. We did book quite shorthand, being based in Berlin and wanting to have some mountain trip not too far away. At first, we were a little unsure about the choice because we did not find many reviews online, but the website looked good and the booking was very swift. Later on, we found out that the place opened just this winter, so it probably explains the lack of reviews. And that's why we need to add one - we didn't come to regret our choice for a minute! Although we understood that Harrachov is primarily a winter-sports center, the nature in summer was simply stunning! Great thing about the place was that it really is right at the beginning of all tracks, so you do not need to use a car.
The rooms were really spacious and and very tastefully furnished, with nice bathrooms. There was a TV, which we didn't need to use during the week, though, because we were just knackered from the mountain air so we slept long and tight :-D. Great thing was the balcony with the nice view. We also really appreciated the WiFi. However, the most fun thing was that you can draught your own beer and so practice your bartender skills!
We took the breakfast option, because it was just 4 Euro more and the breakfast was really nice - a buffet so there was something to chose from for everyone. Good thing as we are vegetarians and our past experiences in the Czech Republic did leave us wonder if everyone eats meat all the time! However, you can also cater for yourself, cos there are kitchenettes an every floor, which is something what we did if we could not have been bother to go out in the evening.
There was also a small wellness - we used the jacuzzi but I notices sauna also, which probably comes in handy if you come in after a day of skiing.
All in all in was a very pleasurable experience also thanks to Jana, who runs the place. She has two really cure kids and makes you feel immediately at ease. We will definitely return in winter to get a taste of the skiing :-D

Penzion je krásný,čistý, veľmi udržiavaný a sála z neho rodiná atmosféra.
Krásný výhľad na hory, súkromie, vlastné Parkovisko, výborné raňajky,miestnosť pre kolá, balkón na každom pokoji, možnosť využitia kuchynky, samoobslužný bar...samé pozitíva!!!
