A very nice place with very good czech food

Try svíčková na smetaně (Roast sirloin in chantilly cream sauce with dumplings) if you want to taste some good local food. Hovězí vývar (beef soup) was also very good. Apart from the great food, the place is very nice and clean.

Disappointing

The accommodation did not meet our expectations at all although we did not expect anything extraordinary. The services provided were very very poor except for the spa. We cannot judge the food because nobody noticed us in the restaurant for a long time and we preferred to leave. The price for the superior room did not correspond to the quality of service.
Disliked - Unwillingness, inattention and amateurism of the staff. Poor room service.

Very bad - the menu reminds me a game - find your meat.

We stopped for a late lunch. Ordered a typical Czech meal - potato dumplings filled with smoked pork and chicken risotto. But there was NO meat inside dumplings - except couple of lillte pieces, and in the risoto as well. I really dont understand how can someone even sell something like this. I felt really sorry for the Chief, the taste was great, but really no meat at all. Will definitely not come again EVER.

Its places like this that give McDonalds business

It is sas to see a place like this, that the owners have obviously put a lot of money into reconstruction and advertising (there are billboards all the way from the boarder) fail on the most basic level - food. The place is clean and nice, the service is friendly, but if you cant provide food in a restaurant, dont run one. We have ordered two very basic items of the menu - a chicken escalope and gyros chicken strips. The strips were just random pieces of chicken covered in gyros spice and very greasy. And The chicken escalope was full of tendons, and didnt even come with a lemon. I always feel sad when I pick a restaurant during travelling, and then wish I had gone with a Big Mac instead, but this was definitely the case. Please avoid this fine looking establishment until they find someone who can actually cook...

Dlouhé čekání na nic, malý výběr jídel.

V pondělí bylo na poledním menu uvedeno 5 hotových jídel a jedna polévka. Polévku jsme nedostali ani 30 min. od objednání, takže zbytek objednávky jsme zrušili. I u ostatních hostů bylo patrné, že na hlavní jídla čekají více než 30 min. Zhruba po 40 min. jsme tak odjížděli hladoví a personál to nijak příliš netrápilo. Nevíme tedy, v jaké kvalitě jsou jednotlivá jídla, ale podle poledního menu to byly běžné hotovky. Pokud pospícháte, toto není rozhodně dobrá volba.
