Good and cheap. Very good food, nice staff
We received a very friendly welcome here. The young lady at the reception spoke good English and a little German. Our room was warm and clean. The furnishings looked pretty new. We were able to lie comfortably in the beds despite our orthopedic problems. The bathroom was big enough and the shower was also nice and big. Here, too, everything was clean, looked new and worked well. The room also had a safe and a large LED TV, but we didn't use them. There was even a USB charging port by the bed. The dining room was pleasantly heated by a fireplace. The breakfast buffet was excellent. In addition to the many normal standards, there were hot dishes from which you could put together a full English breakfast. There were boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, beans, various types of sausages and fried bacon. There was also a fresh and delicious fruit platter, including fresh pineapple pieces, melons and grapes. The breakfast staff were friendly, hard-working and attentive. There are plenty of free parking spaces available at the property. The WiFi worked well and reliably. The restaurant had an indoor and a large outdoor area. The staff here were also friendly and hard-working. The menu had a medium range of regional dishes. Some of the food was good and some very good. The prices are medium to slightly higher for the Czech Republic. There is a nice play area for children on site. There are plenty of free parking spaces on site.
Dogs in the restaurant and in the dining room are actually a no-no. They sometimes barked and in the dining room a dog at the next table put its paws on the table and ate the food from its owner's plate. That was pretty disgusting. The room was very small, you could hardly move next to the bed. Apart from a medium-sized chest of drawers, there was almost no storage space and no closet either.
Dogs in the restaurant and in the dining room are actually a no-no. They sometimes barked and in the dining room a dog at the next table put its paws on the table and ate the food from its owner's plate. That was pretty disgusting. The room was very small, you could hardly move next to the bed. Apart from a medium-sized chest of drawers, there was almost no storage space and no closet either.

All that glitters is not gold...
The location was good and within walking distance to hiking trails. However, some of these trails are closed off due to a fire that happened two years ago. Beds were also comfortable and not sunken in.
At first glance, the hotel seemed chic, clean, and modern, but upon closer inspection, the cleanliness left much to be desired. The carpet wasn’t clean and the sofa (which converts into a sofa bed) was so bent out of shape and uncomfortable. During our three-day stay, the room was never properly cleaned—only the towels were replaced, and the trash bin was emptied.
The kitchen area was another disappointment. The dishes were dirty, and we had to wash them ourselves before using them. The bed sheets were also a problem, as there were hairs from the previous guest still on them, making it clear that they hadn’t been properly changed. Additionally, the showers had mold on the floors and tiles, which showed that the rooms were cleaned with the same lackluster approach as the overall service.
As for the staff, most seemed unfriendly and unmotivated. Smiles and greetings were rare, and the service didn’t have the warm, welcoming feel one would expect from a modern and pricey establishment.
It’s a total shame because the pictures make the hotel appear new and modern, but in reality, it seems to be degrading in quality due to the staff's lackluster efforts and poor customer service. I would highly recommend not staying in the hotel itself. However, if you must stay here, the bungalows might be a better option. That said, be prepared for staff that are only half-friendly and a lack of the hospitality you’d expect in a place like this!

Exceptional place in nature!
We have stayed here for New Year’s Eve in the Exceptional Haylofts and we really enjoyed it. The accommodation is cozy and well equipped with lovely terrase with beautiful view.
Breakfasts were delicious with wide offer every day. Location great as well!

Recommended place to stay in Bohemian Switzerland National Park
Great location for exploring the Bohemian Switzerland National Park, with paths leading direct from the hotel. The Reception staff were friendly, very helpful and spoke English too. Rooms were clean, well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. A good breakfast set us up for the day walking! We extended our stay and would definitely return here.

Not again!
We stayed in the hotel for four nights - at least that was planned. The first evening began with the power going out at around 7 p.m. due to a storm.
Instead of asking the staff if everything was OK, my husband went to reception and asked. He was told that the outage was due to the storm. Nothing else happened.
We didn't have power again until the afternoon of the next day. That means no power at all during that time.
In addition, the "high-speed WiFi" was poor or even unavailable throughout the entire stay.
The food in the hotel restaurant was so bad on the first evening (supposedly venison, but it wasn't) that we preferred to eat somewhere else.
I was also able to take a warm shower for about seven minutes, after which the water went cold. After we mentioned this and went to reception again the next afternoon, the lady told us that she had just been in our bungalow and had tested it, and the water was warm. Not only is it more than impertinent to go into the room without the guests' knowledge, she tested the faucet on the sink and not the shower. So we went to the bungalow and proved to her that the shower water gets cold after 7 minutes.
The nature of the area is beautiful, but after three days we were so fed up that we left. There was no compromise, no "We're sorry, what can we do?"
We absolutely cannot and do not want to recommend this hotel.
