Do not stay there...

... unless you really have no choice:
One of the most awful accomodation i have ever seen, please be wiser than we were and plan your booking early so that you do not end up in such a depressive place!
No elevator, no air conditioning, bathroom is huge but useless.
The only positive points are linked with the staff who seemed quite nice and helpful.

A dormitory for two

Hotel Koruna is an interesting building. Large sweeping stairs, tiled areas in the stairwell and a well hidden reception on the first floor.
Our room was large and it was obvious that it operated normally as a 4 bed dormitory. The bathroom was almost as big as the bedroom with a large dressing space.
The furnishings were basic as fits a dormitory but the room was clean and suited our purposes (walking holiday). It would not do as a honeymoon destination.
The staff were efficient but showed little interest in their guests. Breakfast was as basic as the room.
If you have to stop in Roudnice and don't mind basic, this is ok but there are better options 20km away in Litomerice, a nicer town.

Good value

Stayed twice here and although it's not any luxury (and honestly you can't expect it for that price), everything was OK. Room was big enough as well as clean. Staff is friendly. You can reach the square within three minutes. There's also a parking space in front of the hotel.

Das war nichts!

Leider gibt es nichts positives zu sagen.
Das Hotel ist alt, ungepflegt, unsauber, die Lage zentral, aber laut, Bahnverkehr und Kneipen nebenan. Parken nur auf unsicherer Strasse.
Personal uninteressiert.
Zimmer klein, unsauber mit vielen Spinnenweben. Ein Bett gab es nicht, dafür zwei durchgesessene Liegen ca. 180x75cm gross. Nichts für Erwachsene! Dazu ein kaputtes Laken und Flecken an den Wänden.
Fernseher viel zu klein, nur tschechische Programme.
Frühstück: keine Auswahl, je eine Sorte Brot, Marmelade, Käse, Wurst. Kaffekanne leer. Instantkaffee...
Alles alles ein Punkt, dafür das Wände, Dach, Wc , Wasser und ein Minifühstück da waren.
Mehr nicht. Der Preis ist gering, aber jeder Cent ist zu viel.
Hotel ist NICHT zu empfehlen!

Niente più di un ostello

Comodo per chi viaggia in bici, le camere sono ben poca cosa, ma per chi vuole viaggiare spendendo poco può andare sicuramente bene.
La receptionist bionda sdecisamente aiuta i clienti maschi ad attenuare la pochezza del posto :)
