It is nice place to live in the downtown of Olomouc. However, the room has no air conditioner.

Clean, tidy but dated

This place feels like a large hotel but in fact its part of a large building also home to offices. The hotel reception is situated inside something that resembles an old-fashioned bank teller....more security than a warm hello!
I had an apartment that was huge, clean, and tidy, although looked and felt a little dated. The location is good, next to the cathedral and quite central.

Hotel Palac Olomouc

Comfortable budget hotel conveniently located next to Olomouc Catedral accessible by Public Transport, in walking distance from Olomouc Railway Station and very beautiful historical City Centre. Reception is open until 10 pm. Buffet breakfast.

Ice Palace

Since the hotel is home to other companies, there is a concierge in charge of everything at the Palace Hotel. The people employed there sit in a glass house, are probably not open-minded to newcomers to the hotel (guest or employee?), can hardly return the greeting of the arrival and thus not provide a suitable reception for a palace hotel. The employees sat in front of their screens during our visit or occasionally moped on the phones they brought. The rich and good breakfast was prepared by staff, which was not recognizable as such, as no aprons or similar service clothes were put on. Palace hotel or what?
The pictures of the provider were taken some time ago by a Pro, you can see that when you are in the room. For a business trip, the hotel is fine, especially if you want to stay longer, the wardrobes are oversized and built for extended families. Running this house in this way soon no longer seems easy to me with the extremely active competition in the village. I will book very close next time. Maybe we'd just caught a bad day...
