Restaurant that never disappoints

When we have guests or do not have time to cook is uncertain option to visit the house and restaurant U Bláhů in Dolany. Three-stars pension was built four years ago by Mr. Blaha, who had many years of experience of working in Germany. The pension offers 9 double rooms with balcony, toilet and shower and 1 double suite with balcony, toilet wheelchair-accessible bathroom at reasonable prices. Of course there is wheelchair access to all areas of the house. Free private parking is possible on site (reservation is not needed).
The restaurant serves a continental breakfast in the morning and at noon offers Czech and international cuisine, plus a fine selection of beers, including the great Munich beer Paulaner. In the restaurant not only eat well, but they like will prepare a wedding, a family celebration or a corporate meeting. Although it is cheaper daily menu (even on Saturday and Sunday), as well as dishes from the menu are affordable . Special diet menus can also be arranged. In summer it is pleasant sitting on the terrace. In addition, a snack bar and a children's playground are available.
We come here quite often and especially pleased but are not considered "regulars" .In pension prospectus states inter alia "Special diet menus can also be arranged" . For the last visit we had the opportunity to check it out. Mr.Blaha, owner of the pension, closely with our guest to discuss aspects of her diet and despite they were busy with a large wedding, wife of the owner cooked delicious diet tailored. For us, slowly fry veal cutlet that was softly fried. Both dishes daily menu so quickies are always very tasty whether eg. a roasted trout or just about potato pancake.Sometime after lunch we visit local patisserie for coffee or ice cream with homemade desserts. But it's mostly just the grandchildren, because after a good lunch, usually we do not have on the other delicacies instead.
Restaurant often visited by cyclists who use the beautiful surroundings of Dolany to visit interesting sights as an example Olomouc, Svatý Kopeček, Litovelské Pomoraví , Carthusian monastery ruins.
Especially thanks to Mr. Blaha and his wife, the most pleasant restaurant in the area. They are the ones who create the atmosphere in the restaurant and feel like you've come to chat with friends. Is it right that tripadvisor classifies on your list also new, previously unknown objects.

Family-oriented area, good food and beer

Don't expect a city restaurant and you will be pleasantly surprised. Erdinger on tap! The whole area is non-smoking with a play area for kids. Food has some variety to it, although there are no vegan or gluten-free options on the menu. A tad bit pricey overall.

Average restaurant

Nice environment with playground for kids but with slightly above average prices so we had higher expectations on the food quality but the taste if our meals was just an average, nothing special. Result? Most probably not coming back.
The waiter was brilliant though.

clean rooms, friendly staff, take a Czech dictionary!

A few miles out of Olomouc, in the village of Dolany.
I stayed here a week and my sign language and pictionary skills are now well honed; virtually no English is spoken here. For me that adds to the fun. The landlord is German and the landlady is Czech, and a lot of the guests are Polish.
They don't seem to automatically make up your room. I'm not sure if that's forgetfulness or the culture here. But whatever I've asked for has arrived. Everything is very clean and the food very good but you'll need to translate everything before ordering.

Pleš s firmou

V Olomouci jsme měli firemní pleš a jelikož jsme z daleka, potřebovali jsme přespat. Objednali nám čtyři pokoje v tomto penzionu, od Olomouce dál a tak jsme zvolili taxi službu. Pokoje jsou čisté a restaurace pěkná, v ceně je i servírovaná snídaně. Míchaná vajíčka, paštika, marmeláda, jogurt, čaj, džus a káva.

Very good location
