Ambient hotel phara (A Scottish review)
ONE WORD OF WARNING (not about the hotel)..... Prague is an expensive city....seeing a bottle of water for 29 czh turns out to be £1.09 thought I was getting a good deal lol.
The ambiance hotel phara was clean, safe and the mattress was soooo comfy but the only thing that let it down was the TV in the room.... It's a small complaint but we had one channel in English and unfortunately it was MTV... The remote was only a channel up and down and volume oh and a power button, we take our fire stick with us on every holiday for entertainment of a night but we could not connect it as it was not the proper remote as I said it's a small matter but being disabled and not one for going out at night it irked us a little.
But overall our say was one we will never forget.... Transport links are spot on and very frequent, the staff of the hotel gave us recommendations for places to go. The only down side to our room was we were on the 7th floor and there was a staircase cutting the corner of the room at one side. On more than one occasion I stood up getting out of bed during the night and banged my head off the slanted ceiling.... I was half asleep so not my fault lol.

Rooms spotless,cleaned every day.breakfast was out of this world, every thing from cakes,rolls, bread,cooked meats,pork sausages, bacon and scrambled egg. Air conditioning was a life saver with the temperatures in Prague. All round fantastic hotel and will book again.

I stayed at Ambiance Hotel for 5 nights with my teenage son. I contacted the hotel ahead of time to request twin room, the hotel were quick responded, and a note made on our booking, and upon check-in, had been granted.
Our room was lovely and spacious, with super comfy beds and a lovely big soft pillow. There were also extra blankets if we needed them. The room had plenty of space for us to hang our clothes, space for our luggage, and an in room safe for valuables. There was a desk and chair, a flat screen television, and a small fridge with ice box that came in handy for keeping cold drinks in. The view from our room was lovely.
The room had air-conditioning that you could control, which was needed during the heatwave while we were in Prague.
The bathroom was also a good size, with a shower and a bath tub, toilet, sink, and hairdryer. There was shampoo, and hand soap provided.
As for the rest of the hotel, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The outdoor area was lovely for enjoying a morning coffee (brought up from breakfast) or enjoying a cold beverage whilst reading in the evening. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of continental style options.
Overall, the hotel was quite. We barely heard any of the other guests. The location was perfect! A 2 minute walk from the metro & trams. You can easily get to the airport in 40 minutes using public transport. I highly recommend staying in this hotel when visiting Prague. We really enjoyed our stay!

Pleasant stay
The room is not very large but is equipped with a safe and minibar. Without a wardrobe, it has a desk and only one bedside table. Double bed. No noise heard during the night, daily towel change. The breakfast is excellent with both sweet and savory options. It is located less than 300 meters from the metro and tram stop.

Vile run hotel
I was flying in from the middle east. Booked during ceasefire with Iran. Airport at 97 % capacity at time of booking . It was for a Drs end of life conference. During ceasefire airspace got closed after more attacks. This after booking and oddly during a ceasfire.
I cancelled immediately. Ok it was non refundable however out of decency airline cancelled. Booking.com offered to waive their fees and asked hotel to allow cancellation.
Manager Richard was nothing but rude. Never seen anything like it in my life.
He refused to allow contact with CEO and said CEO backed him. Just refused without even a token to move it. This nothing to do with money but morals.
Yes you can defend this all you like on this site but we know the truth.
Hope my 351 pounds makes you all rich !!!!!
