The hotel facilities were clean and up-to-date. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very good, with tasty breakfasts.

Prejudice and rudeness

Bad experience. We arrived half an hour late, because the flight was delayed. The receptionist saw us coming and closed the door and lights in his face. It was raining. We had to call the emergency number in Italy to get open because he wasn't answering his phone. Unkind welcome, he explained that breakfast had to be booked the day before, and we did it by paying on time every morning. The penultimate morning he insulted me by shouting in my face telling me that we Italians are used to cheating. I paid for the last breakfast in advance, which I would have done the other times if it had been explained to me first and kindly. The room was clean, but my bed had wooden boards and a thin mattress. I asked for my mattress to be changed, which they did. In the narrow and small room there was no wardrobe, only a coat hanger with mirror, there were only two bedside tables positioned behind the head of the bed (uncomfortable) for me no bedside table. No abat jour, we had to get up to turn off the ceiling light. On the first two days, breakfast was served in a windowless corridor with light between the doors of the rooms. The reception was supposed to be open from 10:00 to 22:00 but it was always deserted. Experience not to be redone.

Staff were great. Due to delays at airport and hotels.com not sending over my correct phone number, the hotel reception was closed on arrival (after 10pm)
The man came back to hotel and provided me with a key and entry! Exceptional service!!! Thank you

Highly recommend for the groups

Great stay at Hotel Chodov ASC in Prague during our four-day school trip. The staff was excellent, rooms were clean, and breakfast was good. Most rooms are renovated and have large, spacious bathrooms. Though it’s a bit far from the city center, however, the nearby bus stop is just three stops from the underground that made getting around easy. Our students were happy to stay there. So I'd recommend for groups to stay there.
