Beautiful location and very friendly staff.
Always open to my requests and tried my best to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Rooms are spacious and clean; the hotel is well cared for and maintained in the best form and condition.
Issues and problems were dealt with very quickly and efficiently.
The downsides include:
1) lack of air conditioning in the rooms (especially in summer this is felt)
2) noise from the street. It is by no means the hotel's fault - it is located in the heart of the Old Place. Windows cannot be closed at night (no air conditioning), you need ventilation. That's why the noise from the walking mobs gets into the room all the time.

Old town gem. Really enjoyed my 3 days here. Golden is incredibly well maintained for being a very, very old building. Room was clean and spacious and the bathroom was modern and large. Great location in old town, near everything with Mustek Metro subway close. The Central Train Station is about 15-20 minute walk if you like, quicker on the “A” Subway train from the Muzeum stop. The two ladies working were very pleasant in my few interactions with them. I recommend Golden Age.

Great hotel in a great location. Lots of stairs which was fine, only had backpacks, but I imagine carrying a lot of luggage would be a nightmare. Easy to get to and from. Can be loud at night due to location but didn’t bother us. Shower and hairdryer available, as well as towels.
