Would happily stay again.

This place is ideally situated in Mala Strana. It's a self check in affair, which went smoothly for us.
We had an issue with the water, which was addressed and fixed promptly.
We were in room 5 on the 2nd floor. There was so much room. It was warm at all times. Plenty of radiators.
There were 2 small bath towels which were not changed in the 3 days we were there, neither were the beds made or changed.
My one criticism is that the curtains really let the place down. They didn't suit the lush furnishings at all.

Value but in need of some TLC

A warm and comfortable room, no staff to engage with if needed, small fridge on the floor was awkward, only one bedside light and the lights above the bed were not working. Extension lead supplied but too short to be of practical use. One picture on the wall was falling out of the frame. Having said all that the room was still cosy with a good bathroom and met our needs.

Beautiful hotel - Awful experience

Let me start off by saying the hotel/apartment itself was absolutely beautiful. Very spacious and in a perfect location.
However, we encountered three major issues during our stay at the Small Luxury Palace Residence which just caused stress.
Firstly, we got told check in was all self check in which would’ve been perfect! We arrived at 1:30pm - check in is at 2pm so we waited around. We didn’t receive our keys until we had to find and call the hotel manager and he had to contact the house keeper to bring them down, we didn’t receive them for over an hour which was frustrating as we just wanted to shower and head back out.
Secondly, I booked our stay via hotels.com which I had selected to pay at a later date - I spoke with staff at the hotel and paid before our stay. The manager then tried to take 3 different payments of different amounts from my bank account after we had received our keys claiming they did not receive a payment from myself. I then had to spend a very long time going through hotels.com to get this verified that I had already paid - taking time away from our holiday.
The manager did contact us and apologise - however this is not acceptable.
And the third issue is - we stayed in the romantic sweet with the jetted bath tub - the bath did not work very well, water extremely slow and the bath jets not working - my partner contacted the manager to then be read and ignored which we just left as honestly we had had enough by this point.
I will emphasise again, the room itself was beautiful. Location was perfect, however the way we was treated with the issues they created is not acceptable

Fabulous, central location and comfortable

The apartments are very generously sized, comfortable and clean.
A perfect location to get to both old town and new town Prague as well as public transport access.
The reception staff and staff at booking and checkout were incredibly polite and helpful. Couldn't ask for anything more

Quiet, authentic, clean, perfect

If you like the feeling and smell of history, this place is perfect for you. Perfect for my taste, only the bed is even too authentic because it squeaked and creaked at every slightest movement, namely it is just as old as the rest of the furniture. Clean, quiet, quiet, the smell of old furniture, the location is perfect, it could it not get better. definitely recommend it.
