Just what we wanted for our family ski trip!
We visited Spindleruv Mlyn for a ski trip as a family of four. Not knowing the resort, we were a little anxious about the location but Hotel Adam looked good value and family friendly. We were not disappointed. The staff were fantastic - super helpful and friendly, speaking many languages to help all their guests. Our room was basic but clean and warm. Breakfast was ok. My children loved the waffle and pancake machines. We’re a bit fussy so I missed having a filter coffee and a variety of eggs/cheese which you would normally expect in European hotels. The buffet in the evening was good if you got in there early. Otherwise we chose off the menu and enjoyed the food. We were too exhausted to venture out so we were aware of our limitations and were satisfied with our evening meals.
The pool is great for the children to dip into post skiing, and you could book the jacuzzi room for private use - we didn’t do this as we ran out of time.
The skibus picked us up from the next hotel - Olympie, (5min walk with children in ski boots) and this was good as we were one of the first pick ups and the bus got busy afterwards. Prepare to use your elbows!
The only negative was that we rented ski equipment from the hotel. Although they were really friendly, the equipment was limited. My boots were so bad it ruined the first day skiing - although the chap very helpfully replaced them with no fuss later that day. We had to adjust our children’s skies on the slope. I would go into Spindleruv to get them next time.
I am a fussy traveller but this hotel ticked many boxes and we would happily return to this lovely Czech hotel again.

I wanted to leave an honest review about my stay.
Hi,
The hotel was great, of course. Comfortable room, nice atmosphere, everything exactly as it should be. But if I’m being completely objective, the highlight of my stay was definitely the person welcoming guests at the front desk.
It’s rare to meet someone who combines professionalism with such natural charm. I’m not sure if that’s part of the hotel training, or just your personal talent — but it made a strong impression.
To be fully transparent, I might need to book another stay soon. Strictly for quality control purposes… although I suspect the reception area will once again be my favorite part of the hotel.
Looking forward to my next “inspection.”

Perfekte Kombination: Sport - Natur - und Relax
We have already stayed at Hotel Adam twice – once as a couple and once with our four children – and both visits were absolutely wonderful. We were very satisfied each time.
The hotel is not overloaded with unnecessary gimmicks, yet it offers all the comfort one could wish for. The location is perfect: from our room windows we had a direct view of the ski slope opposite the hotel, and being located at the end of the valley makes it an ideal starting point for hikes to the famous Sněžka and into the surrounding nature. The picturesque town of Špindlerův Mlýn is also just a few minutes away, whether by car or on foot.
We love being active during the day and then relaxing in the evening at the hotel’s beautiful wellness area, which includes a sauna, jacuzzi, and swimming pool. In the common area, we were also able to enjoy quality time with our children playing table tennis and billiards.
The staff at the reception as well as in the spacious restaurant with its lovely view were very friendly and attentive during both stays. It was easy to feel at home here, and we are already looking forward to our next visit.
PS: I can highly recommend the breakfast buffet – it’s excellent!

Amazing place
Amazing place with a gorgeous view. It has a retro vibe, but the new owners are really putting in the effort, and it shows—much better than last year. The wellness center opening at 8:00 a.m. was a highlight. While I would have appreciated an earlier opening time, say 7:00, the excellent selection of beer and drinks means I end up waking up later anyway. Breakfast was completely satisfactory. The view from the balcony, coffee in hand, was truly captivating.
