Wonderful hospitality. Modern and clean

A wonderful gem. Freshly remodeled and simply beautiful. Quiet and comfortable with a very friendly staff. The on-site restaurant is excellent for dinner, drinks and breakfast.
Parking is a little tight and the hotel is on top of a winding one lane road.

Old and expansive

How disappointing was staying here for us like just merried couple. We where there with friends for our big day in de castel near by. Service was not friendly except one receptionist. Food was bad and cheap, rooms where clean but everything inside is very old and not comfortable. I had so pain my back from the matras... NEVER AGAIN!

Nice pension on a hill

It is located at the beginning of a hill close to the castle of Sternberk. It is a very quite location with nice panoramic view from the restaurant terrace or the pension rooms. The rooms are quite large. There is no air conditioning so in Summer time it could be hot but in other seasons it is okey. There are no blinds and the daylight filtrate from the windows since early in the morning. The restaurant is very good with typical local meals and the waiters are very kind and friendly. The prices are much cheaper then in the main town Olomouc. It might be difficult to communicate in English but they speak Czech of course and German. Anyway with Google translator there is no issue. The restaurant menu is also in English. Good breakfast in the morning. Recommended if you are in Sternberk and want to relax in a quite space.

Basic but clean & comfortable

A short stay for a wedding party with children. We had a double & a triple room. Both clean and comfortable. Small modern ensuite with shower. Toiletries included. Breakfast choice was large including fruit,yoghurt, pastries, meats cheeses etc. hot choice on the Sunday. Check out time & bar closing time were early by English standards despite being extended for the wedding party. Limited English spoken by the proprietor but very friendly & accommodating.

The hotel is up on the hill, from the room you have an amazing view. Sternberk is a small city, have a walk around the historical center.
The pension is quite old, the room was small, okay clean, outworn and basic-like equipped. The smell of food/ kitchen, is omnipresent, even in the room. The staff is friendly and speaks Englisch/ German. The breakfast was okay, not a lot of unhealthy choices possible :(
I had dinner in the hotel restaurant, lange choices on the menu, the food was good, the statt friendly.
If I were you, I would choose an other accommodation...
