Absolutely phenomenal

Amazing stay, my family and I loved everything about this place. Cozy and spacious room with private toilet and shower. The entire hotel was super clean. Restaurant is part the the hotel and they make exceptionally tasty food and serve good beer. There is a sauna and indoor pool which make you want to stay forever. Special thanks to Rebecca for helpful tips and overall just made our stay one of the best one.

No refund after cancellation on time

I had a reservation in April at the Wellnesshotel Lamecek, which I cancelled free of charge on time. Unfortunately, I was never refunded the 550 euros. The hotel did not respond to my many attempts to contact me. Very disappointing!

Good hotel with room for improvement

The hotel is good value for money overall. The location is quiet, the rooms, at least the deluxe rooms in the main building are very large and well equipped, the reception is very friendly, both at check-in and in general. Especially the restaurant is highly recommended: the service is very friendly and fast and the food and drinks are very cheap, the daily menu is updated. That's a good thing, too, because given the location, there are few alternatives for dinner, unless you want to drive a little longer. We stayed here almost 5 years ago and since then the restaurant has improved significantly. Unfortunately, the breakfast is less good as very simple, but for us it was no problem.
The hotel is declared a wellness hotel, which is already suggested in the name. Unfortunately, the spa area does not meet any expectations of the wellness hotel at all: the sauna is small and was very crowded during our visit, the pool was cold and therefore not welcoming. There is the possibility to reserve the sauna from 6 p.m. for about 50 euros, which we would also recommend, otherwise it is hardly recommended.
We asked for a quiet room. For this we have a room on the 1st floor. Floor above the reception get with the window to the parking lot, where the kitchen staff apparently had a very loud conversation early in the morning while smoking. But even worse, there was very loud music in the kitchen in the early hours, even on Sunday. We had to get up early, but we think it was rather annoying for those guests who expected some relaxation in a wellness hotel. If you paid more attention to the comfort of the guests here, which would actually be very, the rating would be much better.

Stay away. It is not worth it.

Nice location but apart from that it's hard to find any advantages of this place. uncomfortable beds, pool and billiards closed in the early afternoon and worst of all very unpleasant service treating guests as an unpleasant obligation. I strongly suggest choosing some other place.

A really nice hotel in a quiet location

I always think it's nice when old buildings are given new life. The staff is extremely friendly and I can really recommend the hotel. Breakfast was sufficient. Unfortunately the pool was quite cold, but after the sauna it was OK and refreshing again.
