Luch

Located out of the city, in a charming countryside, beautiful ambience, helpful staff. Had the best roast beef and grilled salmon.
Prices were reasonable.
Children's menu was tasty and reasonably priced.
There was no unnecessarily decorations on tbe plates. By the time we were done, plates were clean as new.
Was a chance discovery, but worth every bit of adventure spirit we had. Didn't check any reviews before. Glad we didn't.
Wanted to ty their cheese cake too, but our stomachs were full.
We saw only locals there.

Nice garden setting

Came here for lunch. Menu was in Czech only, but staff spoke English. Food was typical Czech, my was nice, but my husband's pork was tough (no idea how one can cook tough pork). The setting was nice, but wouldn't come back for food.

Not worth the money

350 czk to access the castle gardens (2 adults and a toddler) where there is almost nothing to do is simply a rip off. Restaurant is average at best - parts of my meal were oversalted. The restaurant garden is quite pleasant though. The park needs an investment asap - everything there is old, shabby, inadequate. They are about to build expensive houses and flats right in the castle grounds - I believe that will totally kill this place.

Excellent

I have been in the hotel for three nights for a business meeting in Ondrejov and I enjoyed it a lot. Very good food, very good beer, comfortable beds and quiet rooms. And, additionally, the landscape around is beautiful!!!

Nice and calm place

In Berchtold we visited just restaurant where we had lunch. Staff was very much kind, friendly and sympathize. From menu can choose everybody even vegetarian, kids, lovers of local cuisine. Food was tasteful with good price. Castle was closed but receptionist let as check main hall and downstairs exhibition for free. Another attraction is park near castle which is nice with few castles which need to be repaired. Nice place for families with kids.
