Horsensfjord around.

I was on the electric bike tour around Horsens fjord, arranged by Heidi who was also on the tour. The tour started and ended at Holmely. A lovely place with good rooms and beautiful nature.
We cycled the railway to Horsens, through beautiful nature.
Visited Industry Musket.
Stayed in Glud at B/B Sirius. After a solid morning meal we cycled to Snaptun, where we went by ferry to Hjarnø. So the little church, a graphic design, Vestermølle where old machines had harvested grain.
The small ferry sailed us to Alrø.
Then we cycled in Sunderup hills to Reballe farm, where we stayed in newly renovated rooms.
Then we cycled back to Holmely.
An experience-rich trip, with a lovely, warm and welcoming hostess who was good at telling about everything we saw.
Can definitely recommend the tour and Holmely.

Not suitable for rental

Unfortunately, the text and images do not reflect the reality at all. We were supposed to stay in the tree top shelter, but the place was so worn out, sad and nuts that we chose to drive home again. The place is simply not suitable for rental.

Det er simpelthen løgn. Hvad har I gang i, så mange mennesker kommer her og nyder stedet og der sidder 4 damer og kan ikke være i naturen. Gider i ikke godt lukke ned for jer selv i stedet for at ødelægge det for mig og så mange andre mennesker. Hvor er det bare egoistisk, tænk at I vil være det bekendt.

Dirty outdoor kitchen and toilet. Not as idyllic as expected. The fireplace was messy and dirty so we bought even disposable grill

The place did not live up to the expectations.. and especially not after seeing the difference on the site's beautiful photos versus when we arrived and saw an outdoor kitchen that needed a large and loving hand. Very dirty and filled trash cans ... the dogs cheered until 23:00 and more or less during the evening. The tents themselves were fine, but that was it too...

Jeg er ked af at du oplevede Holmely således. Det er bestemt ikke hensigten at det skal opleves beskidt og med fyldte skraldespande. Det er jeg er ked af.

Under middle

Good food and service, but
There was a lot of dirt in the bathroom, crowded trash cans, the surroundings need a loving hand
There is a lot of sound in the house and everything can be heard.

jeg er ked af at du har haft sådan en oplevelse her på Holmely. Jeg forstår ikke at badeværelset har været beskidt vi prøver at holde alt pænt og rent her, men det er et gammelt hus og ja der er lidt larm rundt i huset. Jeg tror man skal booke noget der er lidt dyrere og måske undgå landet hvis man ikke kan klare det.

Not as idyllic as expected

Unfortunately not the idyllic experience we hoped for. The place requires a big loving hand to be refreshed up, but the potential is there.
The tent filled with dead insects, needed a diet and a cloth and unfortunately chewed gum was on the bed table and the electronic candles didn't work.
The wildlife bath was dirty and needs a cleanup.
