We did stay at Alsbrogaard for 2 nights to celebrate my 60 years birthday. We did get the ever best service, and possibility to taste a lot of interesting food. The 2 breakfasts had many delicate dishes that I never tried before. For the evening celebration we had booked a menu. That was with 7 different dishes, everyone with some wild plants and made out of 100% plant ingredients. I love this. The rooms we had were very nice, good beds, everything was in top, the cleaning, the house, the bathroom. I would give you all my recommendations to this place and to all of you to drop in and meet these people and enjoy. Best wish Dorte

Really wanted to love Alsbrogaard but...

The hosts are lovely and friendly, the setting in the countryside is beautiful. The house is cute with a traditional thatched roof, and the breakfast room was gorgeously laid out. I truly wanted to love this place. I blame our travel agent for our dissatisfaction.
As a family with young children, we were not informed that (1) there are only 2 common bathrooms on the ground floor, yet bedrooms are up a steep narrow staircase; (2) bedrooms and corridors had VERY loud creaky wooden floors, such that someone walking outside sounded like he was in the room; (3) doors fit badly, very difficult to shut and there were no locks; we were given small padlocks to lock the room from the outside when we go out, but no option to lock from the inside while we sleep; (4) some windows are semi-circular and have no blind or curtain - keep in mind the sun rises very early in the summer!
The breakfast is entirely vegan, which was another surprise, but there is plenty of variety and it's quite delicious.
Other than that, rooms were clean, prettily decorated and the beds and bedding were comfortable.

Not good for light sleeper and shared bathroom

The greatest part of this stay was the owner/ manager . She was really helpful , personable and a very friendly person. Bike storage was great and it was only about 500m. off of the bike trail . Breakfast was Vegan and I must say was surprisingly good . Breakfast facility is quite cozy and nice . The down sides are the fact that although there is minimal notice that there are shared bathrooms on the booking information that is what there is . Two bathrooms down a steep flight of stairs for four bedrooms up the steep flight of stairs . The building is old - no big problem but the floors upstairs are very creaky and walking on them can be a bit daunting with notable flex . The biggest problem is that anybody walking down the narrow hall to the steep stairs on the way to the shared bathroom creaks past your room and with the old thin walls it is hard to sleep with their passing . Any activity such as children crying , laughing etc. can be heard in your room . There should be better information re: shared bathrooms esp. with the inconvenience of the steep old stairs separating your bedroom from them .

Fantastisk

Vi havde den skønneste Kr. himmelfartsferie i sønderjylland.
Vi ankom ret sent men havde fået meget grundig information om hvordan vi kom ind og vejledning til værelset og anden vigtig info.
Om morgenen var der super lækker morgenmad med stort udvalg og rigeligt at vælge i mellem. Stedet er super rent og flot renoveret.
Eneste ulempe er at der er ret lydt, så ud over de knirkende gulve som var ret charmerende kunne vi høre de andre gæster, så det skal man lige være forberedt på.

ESTANCIA DE 5 ESTRELLAS - ESPECTACULAR

Pasamos una noche en la magnifica casa de Jette y si pudieramos pasariamos una semana entera.
Una amabilidad de la familia que nos acogió como si fuéramos conocidos de hace tiempo. Tuvimos unas conversaciones magnificas y el desayuno Home-made fue ESPECTACULAR. De 5 *****.
La casa es muy bonita y han conservado el ambiente antiguo.
