This hostel is located next to Herning Sports Centre, only 5 minutes’ drive from central Herning. It offers a large terrace, a generous breakfast buffet and en-suite rooms with free internet access. Warming up before ice hockey

We went for a meal before ice hockey, and were greeted by a really sweet host couple who created lots of good, well-prepared food.
It is highly recommended to come to the warm-up before ice hockey, and get information about the match, players and what to look out for.

A good night's sleep

This is probably the cleanest hostel I have visited. The town of Herning is very calm and the hostel is even more calm. I can't recall the last time I had such a good night's sleep. The staff was very friendly, although she forgot to mention we had to reserve our breakfast. The wifi wasn't working in the room, but it did work in the main building. The two things I'll remember about Herning: quiet and clean.

Best location for a hockeyplayer

My family and I stayed here 1 week in August 2015, during the annual "Herning icehockey summercamp".
We loved it.
At Arrival we felt very welcome and the managers at Danhostel made us belive that we were special guests and every morning and evening thet were there for us. The hostel is only two steps away from the rink, and that is truly convinient, especially in the early morning when your children need to go on ice at 8 am.
The food served at the hostel is really good for children, but if you are seeking gourmet this is not the place.
The children all ages loved the food and the servings.
Danhostel is not far from citycenter, 5 min. By car, about 3 km.The rooms are very spacy, Big big bathroom and dressingroom. Ok beds,- Nice and clean interior, good price, not too expensive. We had a special deal,- 6 nights, 3 People, breakfast and dinner every day,- 4200 kr,- fair Price i think.
We come back next year for the Herning hockeycamp.

Great for larger groups

We were part of a group of 125 people. The hostel management is very flexible and will try to fulfill all your wishes.
The rooms are large, and there was plenty of space for everyone.
We will definitely come back.

Værd at bo på!

Værelset er fint, dejlige senge, velfungerende wifi. En regnskovsbruser og bedre lys på badeværelset ville gøre opholdet perfekt! Et dejligt roligt område, ingen trafikstøj.
Meget overdådigt morgenbord, TAK for et fint ophold.
