Nice, but not very functional
Rural property a few kilometers from Koge, ideal if you have children; there are many animals.
We stayed in the room on the first floor, equipped with a beautiful terrace furnished with table, chairs and chaise-longue that unfortunately we did not use; it was raining heavily.
Large enough attic room, well furnished, but without wardrobe or shelves.
Nice bathroom with bath and shower.
Designer washbasin, but objectively small.
There are toiletries.
Impeccable cleanliness.
Glass surfaces abound, but there are no tinting agents. Maybe on a sunny day, it could get a little too hot.
We did not try breakfast.
We arrived by bike and had to leave them outside; if they are very expensive, it could be a problem.

Built with love!
Unfortunately, we only stayed one night in Troldegaarden. We were on a bike tour and were looking for a B&B. What we found was a beautiful farm that has been lovingly renovated and furnished. If you are travelling with children, you will enjoy the family and animal contact, cats, dogs, horses, donkeys, llamas, mini pigs and all sorts of other things!!! And we adults found a great big room, comfortably furnished, a bathroom with a whirlpool to feel good in. Next time we will stay longer.

Better accommodation in 3rd world countries
While I rarely write a one star review (less than 5% of my reviews), there are instances where I must advise my fellow travelers of the most unsatisfactory circumstances resulting in this poor establishment.
We researched extensively the options of where to stay for our two nights in this extended area. Though this was not our first choice, we felt it would be okay. Boy were we mistaken. On so many fronts!!!
This house contains 4 outlying rooms, each with its own separate entrance. There is a distance of 25 feet to the edge of the pasture where the cows roam. Thus, as soon as you get out of your car, you are inundated with the smell of cow dung.
We arrived at 6pm, and upon entry into our room, which was stifling hot due to the sun heating up the room, as a greenhouse, we opened the only window to provide some ventilation. However, as there was only one window that actually opened, and as it measured only 16” x 12”, we were forced to keep the entry door open, potentially allowing the cat which roams the property to enter our room.
Our room was dirty, full of spider webs, and poorly provisioned.
We wanted to take a shower, but there wasn’t any soap or shampoo!!!
We went out to dinner and upon returning, we collapsed onto the bed, uncovered, due to the heat.
The next morning, I boiled water in the kettle to make instant coffee, but no sugar or creamer!!!
The owner brought a tray for breakfast to our room at the appointed time. The best part of the breakfast were the warm rolls. She apologized for the lack of creamer, soap, etc, and immediately provided a container of shampoo and conditioner, advising me that all Danes use shampoo for body wash. Okay, I’m willing to adapt.
The shower and toilet are in one tiny room, measured 3 feet x 4 feet. The only sink was in the main room, yet no mirror for me to shave.
After seeing the generally dirty condition of the room, and the mold on the door, I never felt comfortable with the comforter on the bed, as I had no confidence it had been cleaned after the last guest.
One positive that was appreciated was the good speed and connection of the wifi!!
I have traveled all over the world, and this place is worse than most places I've stayed in third world countries. See photos I’ve taken.
Hopefully the owner will take heed of my comments and improve her accommodation for her future guests.

Clean and friendly
We had perfect night after long flight to kobenhavn. Room is clean and bed good for sleeping. My 4 years old boy really enjoy his stay because there are few friendly animals. They have kats and dogs . Also they had cow.
I can reccomend this place to stay at. But keep in mind this is bed and breakfast not hotel.

Friendly and service minded
Very nice little guesthouse at a farm close to Köge. The landlady is very friendly and service minded. You get your own small apartment with good standard at low price. I stopped there by chance when caught in a snowstorm but I can really recommend it for holiday with family.
