An Outstanding Experience at Hotel Skjern and Restaurant

We just had a fantastic experience at Hotel Skjern and the associated Restaurant Stue th, and we can only give our warmest recommendations!
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by an unrivaled hospitality and service in a distinctive class. Eva, who took care of us throughout our stay, was nothing less than a star! She took care of everything, from our check-in to ordering flowers and table reservations in the delicious restaurant. During the dinner, she provided a service that was both professional, attentive and heartfelt. Her commitment and eye for detail really made a difference and we felt so welcome and appreciated.
The food at Restaurant Stue th was an experience in itself, tasty, beautifully decorated and made from the best raw materials. (We wish we could share photos here so you could see how delicious it looked!) The combination of the cosy atmosphere, the good wine and the phenomenal service made the evening perfect.
The location of the hotel is also very top, centrally in Skjern, but still with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect base for our stay.
We are so satisfied and very grateful for the service we have received, and especially for Eva's skill, attention and hospitality. She was really the icon of service in Skjern!

Messy

The hotel is ok, no more. Breakfast is a bit poor but can be eaten.
However, the nights are terrible, do not stay here Friday Saturday Sunday if you want to sleep. There is prank driving until 04-05 in the morning, many drunk who scream and disturb all night. Warning to put the car in the hotel parking lot, there is a tavern about 50 meters from it as people throw bottles and mess among the cars etc.

A little too dark room

Good location. We lived in the apartment called “art”. The bedroom itself is quite dark decorated and the individual bed we had, was apparently a kind of sofa. It had some big buttons as ornaments, but they weren’t exactly nice to lie on.
But cozy with a back chair in front of the French balcony overlooking the square.

Good hotel but disappointing restaurant

Nice rooms and there is nice and clean, but it would be nice with more shelf space and a couple of drawers when the stay is more than a single day. Breakfast is ok. But the food in the restaurant is quite boring and a bit expensive compared to what was served. Especially lunch 2 small red spat fillets, if it was it and a small piece of rug bread cut into 2 triangles for 175 kr, you can get a large leaked piece of butter bread cheaper in many places.
