This former manor house is located in the town of Tylstrup, a 20-minute drive north of Aalborg, just off the E39 Motorway. It offers a large garden, free Wi-Fi internet access and free private parking.

Very quiet with very few rooms booked and limited menu in the restaurant. Nice for relaxing.

Sold us accommodation in a closed hotel
After a few days in Fyn, we decided to take an extra night on our way to Hirtshals and the ferry home. The choice fell on Vraa, which we had heard from friends. The website showed that they had rooms available for the night and that they had a restaurant that was open until 2100. Perfect. We booked, paid for room and breakfast and received confirmation. Great was therefore our disappointment when after long hours in the car, we finally came to locked doors and empty house. After some search, we found a plastic pocket with a standard print inside and code for the key box. That's how we got into the room. The room was fine enough, in old style, as expected, but the bathroom was crowded.
Dinner one there was nothing of, of course, because no one showed up in the reception or elsewhere.
So we sat in the car again and got a nice welcome and lovely food at a inn 1-2 km away.
Despite all the disappointments we hoped everything was a coincidence and that breakfast would be ready the next day.
Of course it wasn't. But a nice craftsman could tell us that it was not so strange, for the chef had free Monday and Tuesday! (This was Tuesday). He was very helpful and contacted - with some difficulty, the person in charge of the hotel.
We received no regret, but was promised the money as soon as the breakfast refunded. Very generous! Now, 14 days after submitting my account details, the money is still not received.
You can make mistakes, but lying in this way on the homepage is in no way appropriate. Our advice: MANAGE UNNA VRAA SLOTSHOTEL!

Great stay
We booked 2 nights at Vrå Slotskro
Hold on, you step back almost to the Middle Ages, with small low ceiling rooms with beautiful old furniture, it is a larger labyrinth system with winding stairs both one and the other way.
We had a problem with a radiator in the room , which could not be closed , but immediately we were offered another room .
And a lot of thanks to Chef Martin for really lovely servings , they are worth 5 cook hooks . Also great praise to the wonderful old lady Christina , she is completely dedicated to her job , and has a great service to the guests , I really hope the management appreciates it , because such employees do not hang on the trees .
Ok the house is old, but you do what you can to make it look good. Really nice beds, and of course “joke” it at night with armor that clarifies and the “grey lady” that runs around. But that belongs to the story of such an old house.
If we had been wearing “Krinoline” dresses, then I think one would feel like a part of the story in the house.

You should get your money back. No service at the hotel or proper handling of bookings. No breakfast available at any time. We booked without breakfast but there was not a possibility to buy if you wanted to. Noe personal present at any time. But the worst thing is the smell of mould. As of now our clothes smells really bad and there should be a reduce fee when providing that bad service. How Will you repay us for this?

Booked & prepaid via Hotels.com, but when we arrived the hotel had double booked and sold our room twice. Had to find a new hotel even though the confirmation for Hotels.com showed we were right and also had paid upfront.
